Weapons in ascension have been the same price for a long time.
Obviously the server itself has evolved during this time; various updates have come and gone, and of course people's growth and income have increased exponentially. In short; more and more people are making more and more DMU.
Weapons prices, however, have remained the same. Not only does this render good old fashioned massing an ineffective war tactic; but it also facilitates the growth of harmful 'sniper accounts.'
My proposal is that weapon prices be increased to something more in keeping with the way the server is nowadays. Make them more costlier to buy and costlier to lose.

or add in some more stronger much more expensive weaps! Bit like the ascended weaps compared to the normal ones, twice as strong but 4x the cost i believe

I don't think that's a good idea. All it would do is make the stats in ascension even more ridiculous than they are already. We don't need a hundred quadrillion defense quite yet.

Well maybe make the current ones weaker then bring is some stronger weaps? U cant really just make them more expensive as there would be alot of complaining that ppl with lots of these weapons have an advantage

I don't care if people will complain. That isn't a reason not to do something. I've had to stomach countless updates which have impacted me negatively, and all for the supposed 'good of the server' as well. I didn't see anybody arguing against those updates to prevent my feelings getting hurt.

I think it is true that it would be unfair to suddenly make the same weapon with the same strength more expensive. I also see the point that the number of digits is getting a bit ridiculous in strengths. So how about a combination of suggestions.
Introduce new, more powerful and expensive weapons, and display strengths in differnet terms. For example if you have a defense of 1,750,000,000,000 (1.75 trillion) display it as 1,750. Display everything in terms of billions of power.
The noobs would just have to deal with seeing there initial stats in decimals, which would be much better than screwing them out of a s***load of dmu by charging them more for each weapon than the older players.

You are already able to change which units your stats are shown in the Change Name page, and you can change it to thousands, millions, or billions.

Weapons are useless in war, all they are there for is detouring farmers. No one uses weapons to mass or destroy anyones accounts. Why would anyone use such a weak and costly way of attack?
Regular massing and use of weapons are patheticly weak, and destroy military and assasin attacks are way to powerful.
You cant mass anyone with 30 hits with standard weapondry but you can destroy 95% of someones army in 30 hits with assasin actions.
No sense of balance anywhere in that.

absolutely right lore.. IMO, losses for massing should be increases about 5x, and Destroy Military should AT MOST do 3-5%, and if that the losses the attacker incurs should be tripled. Right now Assassin Operations do 10% per hit and you lose what.. 4% of assassins?.. it's retarded.

To help the newly ascended be able to afford higher priced weapons, just give them 10M or 100M as the exchange rate for turns to DMU rather than the 1M right now.
In the end the higher players will still never use the option (because the return is so low and the turns can be much better used) and the lower players who are getting faster turn regen can sell 10-20 and get enough weapons to go around and hit other people or build (or repair) a defense. If the player is active it really would only be utilized in the first week or three after that it wouldn't make a difference, just a way to balance it out for the very new players.
