Alex. First of all you refer to the spam temple as a 'waste bucket'. It is not.
Second of all you try to re-install factions and self proclaimed gods in this 'waste bucket'? the simple action of doing this has displayed you don't feel it is a waste bucket, despite your words. if it were truly a waste bucket, there would be no need.
Third, you come off your high horse and try to force something on a community in which you have failed to take part in? i recall in SEVERAL msn convos, you said that you dont spam anymore. Why the sudden change of heart? On that note, the changes that have happened since you left you fail to acknowledge. Hidden is the worst offender here, he was banned for ages, yet only recently he rejoins the temple and completely disregards what we have made the place into. even now he has had experience with us of late, he still refuses the simple truth... Things have changed. we are a community who now thrives. any interference from installing gods etc will only see a degredration of the spam community.

I don't think the argument is to instill any gods. The point was made that, in the past, that was a mistake.

We arn't trying to rally anyone. I've explained our position to you on MSN and thought that Jack's actions had made it perfectly clear. We arn't looking to join their "spam" community as second class citizens. Period.

i personally am in a similar boat to hidden and the others

the factions cannot and will not be destroyed/ dissolved or belittled in any way. They are an integral part of our spam community and should be treasured as the heritage that they are. If you look at recent events, there is not a single spammer in the temple who cannot be grouped under one of the factions banners.

The Factions are Eternal, do not attempt to Defile them!!!

however, in a truely 2nd faction nature, as long as we all abide by the rules and have fun, then do as you please

spam has evolved to a point where it no longer desires order and structure. it is chaos and disorder and it enjoys it. the factions now wont ever be what they were.

now, lets all cool down, have a big hot orgy, and move on!

besides when new spammers come to the temple but wont be hearing much about community and order


they'll just see a ton of spam and ill be there first to tell them to post as much as they can

I already stated this, but it seem like it needs to be done again. My official stance:

Any members participating in a spam war, outside of the temple, will receive suspensions or bans.

Many people comment about how spammers have their own community, or want one aside from the main areas and the existing temple. If this is true then there should be no desire/need/valid reason to move issues related strictly to spammers, outside of their area.

Spacey, look again at who's causing the trouble, it's not one of mine, he's an outsider, and was never really a part of our community. Please do not judge the whole, by the few.

Jack, I'm not making any statement about who is doing what. I used 'members' to be synonymous with 'users'.

I think you might be refering to "neos", so I'll speak to that. If we look at the definition of the word faction, we see that by definition in the English language (1st definition), "neos" are themself a faction. I'm pm'ing you something too, for our eyes only.

If I were to step in and lay a smack down, I would say it's all or nothing. Either everyone live with existing factions all factions (whether or not they recognize it desn't matter), or no one has anything (no faction 1-4, and no 'neos'). Thankfully, I'm not in this, yet, and won't have to make that decision now.

You're missing a lot of the bigger picture, I suspect that you've only been talking to Alex on the matter, and most of what he says is lies, and or gross exaggerations.


The simple fact is, no one's ever told them they couldn't have factions, we've only ever said they couldn't try and force others to go by their factions. They can't be trying to force people to bow down to them.

I listened to that arguement too Jack.

Some have said that the objective was never to rule anyone, that that was a mistake of a few people, but that point is ignored and the arguement is still used.

As someone once told me: "the bottom line is that.." there are problems with people working productively to come to a resolution in this.
