But still what you did was completely wrong. You should have known from the start, i.e. before you attacked someone, whether you wanted to keep the account or not. You can't go around trying to buy people's accounts, get access to them, attack people and then suddenly change your mind.

Yes i know this and i know i cant do this that is why i consider a mistake and not a SCAM or a CHEAT.
that exact convo took place after i had made up my mind about not buying the account. in that convo we just talked about future planning with members in perg and thats all. and i was told to go to perg for steragic reasons.
anyways im going out for 2 hrs, i will be back too see if any1 has backed up the fact that i am a scammer.
again this thread is concerning me weather i am a scammer or not. NOTHING ELSE PLZ>

The whole conversation was under the assumption he was a normal member with the account Ladiesman217 and to go to perg to fight there. I was in that conversation to help guide him once he got there(as LM217). Nothing more, nothing less.

Well there does seem to be a very fine line in this between scam and no scam.
But i return to my first few posts in this thread and say that people should not hand over login details until they have received payment for the account.

This is just another example of disorganized, crappy communication. I've recently dealt with some really easygoing, quick acting people and have had awesome trades. Then there are people that take one small step every few minutes, hours, or even days leading up to the end of a trade. This is probably one of those trades. If everyone made up their mind and did things by protocol, everyone would have been good. Stop trusting people you dont know.
Its hard for anyone to judge what really happened...a lot of stuff looks really bad lol. There's also little communication here between ladiesman and tintsel...how can a successful trade have been completed if theres not even much communication on a forum topic concerning both of you?
lm217 was planning on switching accounts, procured a new account, and took it for a testdrive.
he then decided that the new account (or the terms of that deal) was not to his liking. he therefore returned the account without taking any UU, naq etc.
during that time he did not use his original account.
The only problem I see here is that he took a planet from FS during that time.
I see no indication of him being a scammer, or multi. he was rash, yes, and perhaps a bit foolish. it is impossible however to prove any malevolent intent-or actual breaking of the rules. just, umm, youthful exuberance shall we say? I mean, he's gonna buy this new account, so he logs in, is looking around, and wants to see what it can do-so he takes a planet from people he's been fighting. a bit later he realizes that its nice-but it isn't really worth what it will cost... unfortunately-he's already done the damage.
I think anyone who looks at it logically and without bias will see that there was no bad intent. That said-there still needs to be reparations.
I propose the following solution: The original owner already has his account back without any losses (so no problems there) that the FS member retake his or her planet And that lm217 compensate the FS member for the def and production lost on that planet.
I think that will solve all the problems.
Also, lm217, I'd suggest an apology and a nicer tone here (along with reparations). You have a much greater chance of being listened to if you are calm and logical.
And tintsel-do not hand out login unless you are sure that the deal will be completed, either because you know the person really well (and could find them if they tried to scam you) or because you already have the $$. I almost think you should pay part of the damages for naivety... Also-I think that you should apologize for calling lm217 a scammer. He did not scam you.
To those members of FS I'm sorry for your loss-and I hope that ladiesman217 will be man enough to admit his mistake and pay reparations.

PS-ladiesman217: this isn't meant as a threat, but as a friendly warning-so please take it as such: I'm quite sure that there are those in this game who would be quite unmerciful to you if this didn't go unresolved-not least among them FS. I think it is in your best interest to resolve this asap.

The planet is not an issue (it wasnt even my planet it was taken form Cyberblade by me, massed and not defended) the issue is that it was taken with the Titnsel acct by Ladiesman217 while he was in possession of both accts and with no intention of finalizing the sale of Tintsel's acct it was returned massed without compensation and put into perg.
ps. there were 2 accts in question who attkd simultaneously the second is under investigation by admin also.

Are you saying tinsel's account was massed? if yes then lm217 also owes for that-because he caused it. if lm217's then, well, he took a planet and got massed-thats war. lol.
Once again-as long as he was planning on buying the second account, and wasn't using both simultaneously-there is no multying.
However, you are saying that two accounts attacked you simultaneously-what were the 2 ID's? This may be a separate issue. Given that you are in a war though-it is fairly common to be hit by more than one account Regardless-if there is a true issue of multying (unlike the the accusations against lm217-unless there is other evidence that hasn't been shown) I'd suggest you start a new thread.

pig newton is 100% right....we had no idea about this i have told you major i have told the sgw community and i also told dhm....i can pull ALL the msn convo logs i have had with LM217 i have had since he started to prove this so please i assure you TC had no idea about this nor do we support it so stop trying to drag us into it....we have washed our hands clean on ladiesman end of story.

this is thread where he was trying to sell the account that he had gotten from tin, so he had position of the account, while holding position of this other account. weather he was using both at once, or switching back and forth, it is still multing in every sense of the word. The fact that he had the account, posted for the sale of it, used it, put it into perg, and then returned it, well thats just bad form.
