Bazsy said the problem was fixed, but it seems that maybe it's a player by player basis.

There's your answer to the problem.
ALL but one of his planets has a / in the name.
This causes problems when spying the account.

Yes, I assume he knows that :) And no, it'd seem it wasn't actually fixed... and you can still add \'s to planet names.

Well seeing as "/" in a planet name causes a spying bug then admin should really clean the bug up by preventing people from using that symbol in planet names. He's prevented other symbols from being used so he should be able to prevent that one.

If it never gets fixed then it shouldn't be classified as a bug and then EVERYONE should be able to put "/" in their planet names to prevent people from spying on them.

This isn't a new bug, it's been mentioned many times, so why doesn't admin do something to fix the issue?
