reascending while de-ascended

reascending while de-ascended
If Im de-ascended and ascend will it cancel out or does it ascend or do my bonuses come back after my de-ascention wears off. My main concern is if I ascend my title will not change or itll cancel out. Ive asked on msn but come up with a few different answers.

Thanks Lore much obliged. Apparently I wait for the de-ascention to wear off before I move forward. Its less than 3 days so no big problem just was curious if I could end it earlier.
