A question how to make a planet

i know i could look on google, how to make a planet in photopaint , but i dont get a serius answer, i mean i know once on this forum, there was a link to a perfect explanation how to make a planet, but the problem is i accidantelly deleted my files yesterday alomg with the link, but today i would need it
And i think here are some experts on this, that could help me out
So do you know for any link, where you get an simpel, great, explanation how to make a planet in photoshop,even flash(even though its for animations)

great stuff, but i am stuck someone were, well here

at the pint called (Nebula) i had to make a new layer-black one, well when i did that, i had to go to diference clouds and make that, but when i do that nothing changes, and it does not apper as it should, what do you think i am doing wrong ?

Also what does this mean ?
Make sure to have your foreground and background colors to black/white which will give you the constrasty 'vain-like' effect.

what has to be black and white ?, sory but my english isnt perfect

ok i shall give you 100 turns, if you care to EXplan this, so it works, not just, do this and this, but an Thiraly, or very very good explanation, if you make a new layer, tell me, what do you klik on if what then or !?!?!?!?
