I attacked "The Ancients" which is now an officer of the original "The Ancients", now known as Ancient Anubis.

I attacked once with 12AT's and then the hilarity ensued...

First a message from "Ancient Anubis"...

Dont farm my friend or ill wipe you out of existince.

He is only ranked 30k bc he recently restarted game.

Rather curt and rude but ok...I'll play along...

My response...

Subject: Hail Mighty Anubis!!!

Message text:

Oh great Ancient Anubis!!!

Please, do tell me how I got on your bad side. You say I attacked your friend, however I have about a hundred people who gladly pay me tribute, and I am unsure as to which one in particular you are referring to.

Please tell me of who you speak of so I may discontinue my unwelcome patronage.

I await your reply and may the sun shine brightly on your ass for many days to come!

I think we can also come to a mutual sense of enlightenment with you kindly sending my 80,000 units back unharmed along with 20,000 in tribute.

I think we could then be at peace as well and lay this matter down with the setting sun.

I didn't have to wait long for this reply...

You may be bigger then he but I have the power to buy him 2.5 mil UU once my PPT ends.

No UU/tribute is to be given to you for it was your fault who sent them when I have 3 million spies.

He would be on PPT but he must wait 2 weeks to even go on PPT, also I told him to be low ranked bc I thought no one looks that low just to farm, and to protect his income planets which I already made a list for him.

I guess there is no dealing with the Great Anubis! None may question his greatness and if they do, they are liable to suffer his wrath. Guess I'll have to alert the families of the fallen soldiers to their unfortunate end.

Still as of this writing, have not received Peace setting from either, or tribute. However I have seen that "The Ancients" still leaves copious amounts of naquadah in the open. Sigh...

I remember sending a similar thing to S.C.Thor back when I started. I joined him as an officer when he was ranked 3....but then changed officer to someone else and sent him a long convoluted PM about how I'd failed him as an officer and would have brought shame on him if I didn't change to someone else.

His reply was something along the lines of: who the hell are you?
