Ok guys i'm hear and i found out about this.

So, from all my knowledge at this point i thought Dude Co is dead don't get me wrong i wish his accounts where hacked and he is still alieve but as i said until we manage to sort this out i will consider him dead.


At the moment i'm trying to get in touch with Dragonians (he is our forum admin) and see if there is a different IP from usual.


Thanks for those that informed and i will try and find out as fast as i can wat the hell is going on here.

Sorry if I double posted this but i can't find where it went.

A total of 4 posts have come from the same IP address. The first post in this thread, by the DUDE CO account, and 3 from the Merrickwazoo account.

Apart from the latest post announcing his death, nearly all of DUDE CO's IP addresses are from AOL.

The latest one, and the three from Merrickwazoo that share an IP adress are from an obscure UK ISP (BT Broadband Information).

My guess is that DUDE CO's account was hacked. Either way, someone is having a major joke at the SGW communities expense.

he actually lived in Durham which is a different city alltogether ( i live in Newcastle ) but they are indeed very close (15miles or so) and no, he still lived with his parents and his brother

Larry was on a civillian contract whilst in Iraq, so not british army (i too checked the casualties list on the day i found out, and couldnt find anyone by that name on it, even googled him, to no avail)

but i too had my woes about the whole situation at first something seemed off, saddens me to see all this happening though

Well. Regarding the current issue. IF a birtish civillian was killed in Iraq 9/10 it would have been ALL OVER the news papers and news. So I can find out in 24hours off my grandad. He reads every paper, ever day and he will know if it was in the news. If it wasnt in the news, then there is the off possibility that the government has not
1.) released the body or information yet (post mort, odd circumstances...etc etc..)
2.) The family have requested that it be kept a secret, but if any member of the press found out, which once again would be highly likely, then it would be on the news. The again if they agreed to that it is quite silly of his brousin (a mix of brother cousin as I am not sure who posted what regarding that..) to post the details on a public forum, a direct contradiction of keeping it secret in the first place.

Ultimately, this is looking more and more like a hoax.

The again... we do have some amazing possibilities. He could have been badly wounded, but on the way to make a recovery, at the same time the poor guy has had his accounts hacked by his disgruntled next door neighbor he once borrowed some milk off and never repaid the gesture of kindness. His brother COULD have been in ernest, and well is taking it rather hard and being naughty, he could have secretly harbored a deep hate for Larry (IT IS POSSIBLE).

Looking at the IP's though..well.

Like I said with all the current evidence etc etc...all likeliness here is that he is being very naughty. I personally suggest the topic is locked, people should hold the phone when being called by the grieving goolies, and wait to see what the news brings, because sooner OR later it will be there.

(Also, it is a grim method of finding out a truth, but all funerals are recorded in some way, if memory serves. SO if your THAT desperate to find out, I suggest you go a digging..lol )

All in all though, if he is dead. Well never knew him, dont really care. Hope everyone who did know him though is getting by ok, loss of life is always tragic in some way or another.

Actually i agrea with Semper on this one.

I do hope if this is a HOAX that Dude Co or Larry arent aware of it because from what i read he is a honorable player and would never agrea to this and if it is a hoax i hope we can before he gets back this done over and away so he never knows this happen its sad for him to find out especially if it is someone he knows.
