that's because the original movie came first. SG-1 spawned from it, not the other way 'round (in case you hadn't figured that out, or just didn't know it already). the creators of the movie stargate don't even consider SG-1 and Atlantis to be legitimate, cannon spinoffs from the movie. but even if they did create their own sequel to it I doubt it would do well in the face of pressure from fans of the series.

Re: Stargate SG-1 Ark of Truth

Ark Of Truth is a great movie. I recommend all fans to go out and buy the dvd, even if you have seen it. The only way we are going to get more is if the dvd sales are high enough for them to think they're going to make enough money off it. Please everyone go out and buy it.

Re: Stargate SG-1 Ark of Truth

I bought it the day it came out. And Best Buy was having a sale at the time :o the sticker price was $20 US, but I wound up paying $17 some.

It was worth everything I paid for it and more. Have yet to watch w/ the commentary, but I did watch the comic-con bit. also liked how they have the option 'play movie with prelude'; my memory was a touch foggy on a few of the details.

you must be pretty stretched for cash Jack, 'cause it isn't that expensive.
