I got banned, please help

I was buying mercs... and i might have bought an ammount, that have putted me over the CAP... I was in pergatory and i might bought to many mercs... But i don't know how could this be defined as cheating

an add on for firefox is one of many ways tampering data can be accomplished. of course there are other more direct methods which result the same, but its not appropriate to discuss that here. 'tamper data' add on for FF allows a user to modify HTTP/HTTPS headers and post parameters on unprotected sites, only to a certain extent. the 'anti' tamper data 'scripts' are in place to eliminate the average user (most of you) from just plugging in a number you like and getting that result, without actually knowing the science to it. every castle has its weak spot.

this goes to omoc and everyone...
the game expects values entered in forms to be within specific ranges, character lengths, and default values (ie in a dropdown, or such)

anything that ends up back on the server that does NOT match what is allowed to be input via the forms, is what i deem tampering with the data. it should not be possible to do without a scipt, tool, or deliberate intervention. (there are, as above, many means...)

the autoban simply checks what we get back, versus what is expected, and bans if it is not what the normal webpage form is capable of delivering...

this particular issue resolved, as i see no history of the same, but still curious as to what you did -- browser type, etc - i wonder if some browser dont enforce specific html limits or such...

But i must say, that i did not use any script or tool. I swear to god! So there might be a mistake in the script. Or, is it possible that i pasted the number in the "input field", that was bigger than alowed? And that server accepted it? I did not use any tools, but i might pasted the number i had copied from the spying (99999999...) so i might pasted the number bigger than the input is alowed ( i didn't use any scripts or whatsoever-i don't even know how to use them )

i think it had to do with that you were in pergatory, or your internet.

@forum - is there a set merc limit in pergatory that he may have bipassed somehow?

@omoc- do you have high speed internet? if your internet started clogging up (lagging) or SGW wasnt receiving any packets at a certain amount of time, your merc requests may have appeared to contact the server in a 'tampering' method as described above. so when SGW accepted connections it got a combnation of your requests; your fast internet set the request with minimal intervals and SGW saw this as simultaneous requests.
