1) Being Ostracized
2) Appearing ranked 0 like Omoc but not Ostracized?

Clarkey, when i was autobanned few weeks ago it did that then also. after i scrapped weps which turned my naq amount to a negative figure, turn hit, i was autobanned. but for several hours it only showed me as unranked and didnt give me any resources or turn values. maybe 6 hours later or more when i went to log on it said i was banned from logging in. im not really sure how long it took to display ostracized properly but i was told by friends that it did say that on my account eventually.

the autoban works fine, it is overzealous but that isnt a bad thing imo. if a person has a valid reason for the autoban kicking in, admin will reinstate their account. he reinstated mine the next day. so its better to autoban all that r suspect and reinstate accounts than it is let a bunch of cheaters go about their business. i dont know about you but i work my bum off on my account and i dont appreciate cheaters getting the same amount of goods by suspect means.

to anyone autobanned by the game for invalid reasons; visit admin chat on wednesday & also email. to all wondering if someones autoban is valid or not, wait till after weds. if its still ostracized then let it go.

Admin Mark has been very active in the cheats section recently, I'm sure if they are innocent they will be cleared, if not they deserve the ban. I'll reserve judgment until we hear the whole story.


The auto-ban system seems to have a few bugs but I agree better to err on the side of caution given recent cheats, many thanks to admin for the hard work and activity on these issues.

hmmmm while i was wondering myself what happened to him, i wouldnt be so fast to call that an auto baning mistake...
last time i checked he was playn a 0stat game, with all his uu as strikers... and was still ascending.. using only normal troops to minimize the losses (or prevent him from beeing massed) so one can wonder where it all comes from.
and lately i heard reports of him jumping up in size quite a bit, aslo gaining coverts 31 or 32... ect...
nothing is so special about it, but once you think he has no def, doesnt keep his income.. and his uu traind as normal strikers to be protected... makes one wonder where it came from

i usually dont feel the need to explain to everyone what happens to one users account, but since it is in the open anyway....

sgc - account cheated. i will leave it at that... there is no doubt on this. it was significant enough to warrant a ban. people should know that logs are not erased when an account ascends...and if an autoban does not catch something, that does not mean there is nobody else looking...

the other one - omoc - was an autoban and teh details can be left to email with the account holder.

on autoban - they dont just happen, but we do look at each one. they are also not happening a lot - so when they do happen, it means something did happen that should not have...and, with the concept of better safe than sorry for the game and other players - it makes sense to keep it as strict as it is.

accounts can be un-autobanned with no side effects aside from time lost...
