Internet help

hey everyone, I have DSL through centurytel and for some reason i get disconnected once an hour at a certain time for like 1 sec but it boots me off msn and other games. does anyone have any idea what would be doing this? pm me or respond here. thanks

its somewhere in start, settings, network connections, "your internet icon" , right click , properties. Have a look in the advanced tab see if theres something you can change to keep you from disconnecting.

no i dont use alot of bandwidth intensive programs, usually just flash games or stargatewars so not a big deal for dsl. thanks general ill try that when i get home.

did and they said all they could do was check the lines and they did it and everything is fine on the lines they said. its still disconnecting though.
