i was thinking mabey there could be a timeline from the start of the game till present. stating the time periods of all the wars and telling when the game started till now. and we could put other things on it if there of importance.

if such were to be made, it would most likely have to be done by the users, not by the admin...

Wasn't there a wiki page for SGW at one point? If it's still around that might be the place to do it.

I think people lost interest in the wiki very quickly - mainly because there was one wiki, which was quite well populated, and then all of a sudden there was another one that needed repopulated.

A decent stab at a timeline could probably be created from trawling through alliance histories - but then not all alliances do that, or maintain them.

It would be interesting to have an official timeline, and I'm sure that each alliance probably has a couple of people that could quote that alliance's history.... for example.....

- Feb 05 - Two major powers arise at the birth of SGW - Tauri Alliance & Order of Chaos.

- 12 Feb 05 - Wolf359 arrives in the SGW arena.

- 16 Feb 05 - Wolf359 forms the Earth Protectorate Alliance and forges alliance with TA.

- Much of early SGW activity is centred around the battles between EPA/TA and OoC, including the first massings and first hints of what became known as super-alliance when the TA, EPA, ELUSIVE and MDA (Mass Destruction Alliance) joined forces temporarily against OoC in a frenzy of organised attacks.

- April 05 (?) - Lord Dougy (aka Lord Dark) forms The Dark Dominium.

- May 05 (?) - ETL forms the Omega Allegiance.

- May 05 - The Order, whilst in peace negotiations with the EPA, harbour an EPA enemy and issue threats to leave him alone. Needless to say, the peace process hits a wall.

- EPA intelligence uncovers plans of an attack against and EPA Alert Status is raised to the highest level, many speculate who the EPA will go to war with, the favourites being OoC, Omega, The Order.

- Many of the TA leadership disappear, leaving the TA in internal turmoil and effectively ending their alliance with the EPA.

- Robe forms Crystal Force.

- June 05 - Tauri Asgard Alliance forms an alliance with EPA.

- June/July 05 - After days of tension, the EPA declares war against The Order. The war lasts for 4 weeks and is one of the bloodiest in SGW history. The EPA emerges victorious, but battle weary and ravaged by war.

- July 05 - The Order disbands.

- _The Rob 1_ , as a Goa'uld, becomes the first non-Tauri/Asgard to join the EPA.

- JaseB, SLugg and Viperman leave the EPA to form BAMF - a covert front line unit to protect the recovering EPA from attack.

- Omega approaches EPA to form an alliance. Omega covert power, combined with EPA attack power is a formidable combination and dissuades many would be attackers from hostilities.

- September 05 - The Grand Alliance is formed when EPA and Omega join forces with Unseen Threat. A major battle is fought against The Resistance and FRA, and the GA is victorious.

- The TAA temporarily merges with the EPA due to sabotage. They shortly reform as TAA Reincarnate, although some members remain with EPA.

- October 05 - Balhaar and Targa leave the EPA to set up a sister alliance - The Stargate Academy.

- 23 January 06 - The EPA openly recruits non-Tauri/Asgard for the first time.

- 05 Feb 2006 - EPA and TSA members involved in a minor conflict with the Kaylonian Empire. Resolved EPA/TSA satisfaction.

- 16 Feb 06 - EPA marks it's 1st anniversary.

- 16 Mar 06 - TAA formally merges into the EPA.

That's just some of the first 13 months, from my (EPA) perspective, so it could get quite complicated!

People will have different perspectives, so maybe it would be up to a panel to decide on issues that are contested?

could get a neutrol person like me who has no opinion on the case to decide if it sometin that really has to be decided

Would have to be a panel, having only one person could lead to arguments and calls of bias.

4 people would be good - 1 from each alliance disupting the fact, and 2 neutrals.
