Delete inactive accounts

I think admin does delete inactive accounts one a year, i remember him deleting like 30k Id's once time that where inactive.

Or maybe put them in vacation mode... you never know when they decide to come back.

Also, is the account has SS then vacation it, if not then delete it.

I'm not sure which way to vote in this. Because without in-actives how on Earth would new players survive? Even if they were around for a year. If they were abandoned within the first few days after a year they still wouldn't be worth any kind of hit. However, I do believe that in-actives weigh down the server and give a false sense of rank and accomplishment. I mean how good is my rank 3600 if only 4000 people are active? However if you delete all in-actives that haven't logged in for more than a year, you'd probably have a ridiculous number of accounts go and leave the young farmers/raiders nothing to grow on. Then all the big accounts would start to use the new players who had managed to build themselves up some as their new farms since the in-actives are gone. This would discourage those players who had worked hard to begin producing for themselves only to have it ripped from their hands by people they have no chance of competing against for at least a month or two (depending on how often they log in and how active they are, or as a last resort how much money they are willing to spend to buy their way into the top). For now I'm not going to vote, but I'm leaning towards no don't delete them. Just the words of a self-proclaimed noob.

Well, what is the harm in just leaving them? I get a kick out of seeing old friends and enemies sitting in the back of the bus. Brings back memories.

Do they take up a large ammount of space and cause the game to lag more or something? I honestly don't know. If it's not a significant loss, I say we leave them all for good.

Hmmm - scrolling through any number of accounts looking for a high UP to raid is boring and has been detriment to the game since it's introduction.

At least with the inactive accounts still here, the newer/inexperienced players have a chance to hone their skills at raiding/attacking, as well as being able to actually make some decent hits. If you got rid of them, then the newer players would find things more difficult, for a number of varying reasons.

Cheater accounts are deleted because they break the rules, inactive accounts don't.

or mabey only inactive accounts that hav next to no income and next to no up could be deleted. but keep the 1's wit a nice income and up so it will be easier to find the the nice farms.

I think inactives should be deleted, but why not give everyone a chance to strip them completely bare. Like after 3 months of inactivity increase the % of raid much higher and let us strip them of any weapons they've got also (It would be like walking into vacant barracks and take any weapons you found).

And what is going to happen to those ascended accounts that are just being left wide open for us to farm while the owners play on the ascended server?

ye are never happy no matter what is done to the game 1st ye wanted a planet that untrained your lifers the word LIFERS says it all to then came the lifer kill AC ye wanted that reduced to 1:1 or 2:1 forget it.. now this...... LEAVE THE ACCOUNTS THERE. they are there to make the game easier for new players so they can get some form of army to get going.

IF and i stress the wrd IF the account are removed how mant of ye are going to be **Filtered** cause ye are been farmed by bigger player????? think of that before something like this is posted

I dont think those who are against this idea really understand it.

How good of farms are accounts with less then a 100 up? How much income do you pull from an account with a miner count of 2500? I mean get real, you could sell your AT and moke ten times the profit you get from these accounts. If your farm list has accounts you only hit once a month (cuz it takes them that long to make anything worth taking), your in serious trouble anyway.The plus side to this is less pages of "worthless" targets.

the same cuold be said bout the big players. there sick of wasting there covert turns and getting nothing from it by nohing i mean they cant raid them

maybe instead of that, when an account is not logged for over a month it become a new race, it grows to 100k UP per day, then after a month it wont grow anymore, so its a good raid target, then after a total of 6 months i goes to perg, and when 3 months there it just dissapears!

If an account is no longer used why should it be kept ? no reason i see, and better, if they did abandon instead of vacation mode, why should they have any right to get it back, build up a new on!
