The context in which that was said was just him trying to cover his own ace from long standing punishment, even you have to see that.

No acctually we are aware now that it was planned months ago.

This may have been a funny prank if Tok'ra would of just said April fools after Clarkey clearly showed that he didn't have the power he claimed due to the fact his account was still in his possession. But in the end he didn't he kept pushing the issue which should not of been done. So it had to end the way it did due to the over dramatic play of the prank.

Get your facts straight not all said he should stay banned afterall im the one who did a good word for Jedi and Judo with admin after they gave me the info about everything that was missing.

Why is it that you were so much more forgiving to Judo than Jedi? All those TLE members during Jedi's confession were talking about how much Jedi deserved to be banned.

First up, I've Known JudoChop for a lot longer than I've been a member of TLE, infact, he's one of the reasons I'm there.
now to answer your question, Compare Judo's post with Jedi's

One shows a distinct lack or remorse, and closes with Threats and intimidations in typical Jedi Style.

Judo's, basically says I messed up, sorry guys, I'll take what's coming for my part in it.....

See the difference, it's nothing to do with what alliance they're in. If Judo get's banned...so be it. he made a terrible error and judgment and he's prepared to live with it

Jedi seems to have a somewhat different View.

The thing we should be worried about is that the punishment gets handed out uniformly to all involved.

Why is it that you were so much more forgiving to Judo than Jedi? Maybe someone should take after Severian and put something in their signature making fun of Judo while he cannot post and is banned.

My Sig was made before he was banned. He came into my thread (of which I put a lot of effort into including a story for the community) to cause trouble, spammed it, abused a lot of others before making a challege for someone to give him a good debate. I did so and showed his argument to be weak, hypocritical and found wanting. He refused to realise that and his comebacks and replies to mine were throwing single line slurs and so I keep my sig for people to make up their own mind by reading those arguments.

The last part of the sig is new...

Simply put:

A) Jedi made a sig whose sole purpose was to insult and Stir Trouble. He refused to take it down until ordered and then did so at the last min, defient and not submitting to the wishes of the head admin.

It was a good laugh. Bebita had a sig throughout the whole FUALL vs TO war making fun of FUALL, and we asked the mods to take it down and they didn't. It seems that this rule only applies to FUALL.

B) When he was told to change, he loved the attention and was grinning the entire count down and then relied on usings posts to continue that campaign. I.E no Remorse despite knowing what he was doing was against forum rules and wrong and had been told so. He didn't care for punishment as long as he was able to continue hurling abuses at those in his way.

Won't argue with that

C) Jedi made accusations despite being guilty of the same thing and relied on one word slurs to convey his 'opinion'.

Judo always goes around in threads and makes one line slurs. This is a game, not an essay writing competition.

D) When banned on forums, Jedi has stated his is still proud of that he did to get his warnings. I.E no Remorse despite knowing what he was doing was against forum rules and against the spirit of what he had been told, despite several warnings pilling up. Warnings which are a statement of telling people to change their course and that the forums don't tolerate that sort of behaviour.

E) Now in this thread, he stirred trouble, was loving the attention and up to his usual antics:

• Had planned and talked with Tok'ra about this and so can be argued directly participating.
  
  So did Judo
  
• Knew the implications and provided two seperate cases to give Tok'ra credability that if he could hack due to an external site which admin was selling info, then that site actually existed and was slander.
  
  True
  
• The First case was Changing his ingame name to validate Tok'ras arguement and give his accusations of admin substance.
  
  There are 16 accounts ingame with the word Tokra in their name, one of whom is in Janus Pact. You want to ban them?
  
• Sending Tok'ra screenshots of his officer to be posted up, that is taking a screenshot from his account, giving it to Tokra to make a direct link that Tok'ra was in control of his account. Also this resulted in the showing stats (breaking yet more rules) without a single thought for the officer.
  
  He went a bit to far with that.
  
• Made threats against anyone who suggested he get perma banned as the final statement of his "apology" to the community. Shows how sorry he is and how humble he is about it and how much responcibility he is willing to take for his actions against the community. 'I did wrong, i want my account back and if you dare try get me banned, i'll be giving you early birthday/christmas presests'. So very very sincere.

Now he gets banned and this time loses something important and potentially permenant: his account which FUALL invested well in excess of 200tril in his fleets/hangers. All of a sudden he is sorry and showing remorse and didn't mean any of it despite his past history?

Anyone else see how convenient his sudden change of heart is? Still denying he did any damage, still threatening anyone against him and still trying to save his account by any means necessary including trying to intimidate anyone providing a counter argument into silence for fear of their own accounts.

I am furious. absolutely furious. I have been playing this game since april 2006, and ever since, i have built friendships with forum members, fellow SGW gamers.

now some of what i have to say may be biased, i have just been adversely effected by actions of Almost38's in another isolated incident.

I was not aware of much of this until today. i did notice Almost38 change his forum name to "Tok ra" about the 1st. i didnt pay much attention to the sig, as i have seen both the actions of Tok'ra on the forums AND several of Almost38's, perhaps a poor decision in hindsight. but seeing as i have no authority, and was unaware of the underlying prank, this needless information considering the impact it has had on the community.
TO THOSE WHO ARE IN AUTHORITY AND ARE INVOLVED, YOU ARE LEADERS WHO WERE SUPPOSED TO MANAGE THIS AND KEEP SITUATIONS LIKE THIS FROM ARISING. UNFORGIVABLE IN MY OPINION. THOUGH I WONT HOLD IT AGAINST YOU, ITS NOT MY PLACE. JASON HAS SPENT AGES, YEARS EVEN GETTING STARGATEWARS TO THIS LEVEL. WHAT YOU DID SEVERELY COMPREMISED THE COMMUNITIES CONFIDENCE IN HIM. SOMETHING HE DID NOT DESERVE. YOU COULD HAVE DESTROYED ALL THAT WORK. COULD YOU CONTINUE TO ADMINISTRATE STARGATEWARS KNOWING THIS? TO THOSE WHO PLANNED AND TOOK PART IN IT, I AM DISGUSTED. TO THINK THAT LEVEL OF IDIOCY COULD SPOUT FROM A HUMAN BEING. I ADMIRE THE ATTITUDE OF REMORSE, A RESPECTABLE DEED. HOWEVER YOUR COMMON SENSE WOULDVE BEEN HELPFUL BEFORE THIS ALL BEGAN. IF IT WAS INDEED PLANNED MONTHS IN ADVANCE, YOU COULDVE STOPPED< COME FORWARD AND WARNED US. BUT NO, EVIDENTLY, IDIOCY PREVAILS.

Lastly, Jason, i dont know you, and i doubt you know me. regardless, im not brown nosing here, im just stating fact. I have a great amount of respect for you. you seemed to handle this situation with a calm demeanor, rather than coming into action with said banhammer. i admit, i probably would have banned all involved by now if i were in your shoes. but im not. its your decision, yours alone.

you have created a wonderful gaming environment, one that i have enjoyed for the last 2 years approximately. whatever you do from here, you have my support. your credibility has only been strengthened in my eyes. the only loss of credibility i can see is in those 4 people who i never really had much respect for anyway.

keep doing a good job, im sure when this is over, records will show you have NOT neglected the community.

When I saw that thread on the galactic collosseum, I was sure it was a prank, until about 4 pages in. I started doubting some, being a newcomer here, but still believe it to be a prank. Many other members were pulled in and believed it. Those of us who have not been here so long and have not seen how much devotion Jason has put into this game are easier to sway. For me, this has only proved how much devotion is put into this game, and has washed away any other doubts. I hope it does the same for others.

@SilentBob, I agree with you completely on your interpretation of JMX and Judo's apology. Judo's is completely sincere, JMX seems to be more just wanting his account back. However I don't know that everyone should get equal punishment. Look at what each did and judge based on that. JMX sent screenshot of his account, and his officers, I am not sure as to what all Judo did as I have not seen everything.
