If this accusation had been made any other day, i would be for a permaban of ALL involved, regardless if they are mods or players. Nobody should be allowed to do so.

But again, it was an april's fools joke. And when you see a post on April 1st from Tok'Ra ... well that alone should make you realize it will be FAR away from the truth (sorry wes, it's just how you are ).

It's sad but true that different people make different types of jokes, it just happens to be that JMX, Almost and Judo picked a particularly stupid way of doing it.

Basically my points are:

- Do NOT believe everything you read/see for the first time. Let it swirl around your head, then form your opinion based on facts, not fiction.
- I think that on the first page someone pointed out that it's April 1st and although it was refuted by the author (obviously), that alone should give you a good enough reason not to jump to conclusions
- Be aware that the sole purpose of the accusations that someone has the admin team in their pockets is and will be public manipulation
- The punisment for this dumb joke are up to Jason, not the users
- By all means be disgusted if you wish to, but base your disgust and opinion on hard facts, not just paranoia and fear (e.g. where the information was obtained, was the intent malicious, why was it done, did they really let Tok'ra back or did they only impersonate him, ...)
- We've had a lot of scandalous situations here on the forum. I wonder how and WHY you take such things for granted. Think before you act.

a joke is a joke. but every joke has a line, a way of knowing if it was taken to far. was the line crossed? some think yes, others no. each to his/her own. the point is the joke was an attack on admin jason's character, and he thinks it went to far. its up to him, as the creater of this game, owner of this game, to come up with an appropriate punishment. and when that happens people should accept it for if u really love this game and enjoy it, that should b enough

I've started asking those involved what their version of events was, to try and piece together what actually happened, instead of speculating. So far I've managed to have a conversation with one of the alleged guilty party. What I intend to do is speak to the others and then pass on what I find, and my thoughts to Jason and the community as a whole. Until then I would respectfully request that people try and look at this objectively and that unfounded accusations cease.

By all means, state your opinion on what you thought of the 'prank', but keep accusations (especially ones you can't back up because you don't know the truth (as some people admit), or all the facts) and demands for what must happen to yourselves, because all it serves is nothing more than to stir up more emotion and tension to a situation that has obviosuly upset some people.

my point is everyone will have something to say on the matter but really admins view of events will b the only opinion that will ultimatly matter and i hope people will trust him enough to make the right decisions

people should not forget that someone actually makes the rules here - and can change the 'rules' and is not tied to the 'rules' ...

rules are a byproduct of the goal, or point, or intent, of this space/community/game. and it is the latter, not the former, that is the real driving force.

-remove planets
-reset covert/AC levels
-reset MS+hangars
-kill their trained units
-remove their weapons
-empty their bank

in short:
-leave only miners

why:

Umm so the head admin, a mod and the ombudsman think it is perfectly acceptable to work against Forum... Pathetic. And what's even worse is that none of them will ever have to face any consequences. Speaking of consequences how come Judo was unbanned and Jedi wasn't????

I do have the right to know who were involved into this prank, at the end if as some says its was just a prank, well then theres nothing to hide and if no bad intentions as others says too so why cant we know who in the management team of the game and forum were involved in the funniest aprils prank of SGW history ?? Are u guys telling us that them are going to keep their position and unless Judo JMX or Almost tell us we wont know who they are then ?
I think that if something like this happened and players respected all the rules of the forum and game, and something like this goes on then we do have the right to know who are involved at least to know who we cant trust in future or not.
If this is not possible then i ask to those involved into this to say they were involved in this !!!
But if u guys dont want to well i do understand im just another of the players about to quit the game cause of what happened who invested real $$$ in the game and other server of this game just for the fun who would not care about it!!! United: He did apologize and say he meant no harm. He is entitled to his opinion as is everyone else. Imho if Judo is unbanned, so should JMX be. Just because one apologized in a remorseful manner and another one didn't apologize in a remorseful manner but his own way, does not undo what they did, nor make a difference in how they should be treated.

They should both get punished or neither. Same goes for everyone who knew about this but didn't do anything to stop it from happening.

Mato, you're being a bit too harsh considering it was supposed to be a joke. A very childish, stupid, irresponsible joke. But a joke nonetheless.

Everyone else: Stop blowing this out of proportions. It doesn't help the case or admin or the game for that matter.
