Brokers
How about making it so you have to have the goods you are "brokering" with so we can stop scammers like renegade7 from blind brokering.

Who has named this "blind brokering"... is it because some people haven't bothered to look at the broker properly before accepting/rejecting it? basically it's a tactic that some will fall to. it's not a bug, so really it should just be dealt with ingame, like sitting on him etc.
The way I understand it is that he was setting up brokers, for example, he has 750,000,000 naq and he puts 1m uu in your broker box. You accept it without checking and he gets 1m uu for 750m naq instead of 750b naq.
Therefore, he had the 750m naq when he set the broker. Surely you are not suggesting that the other person has to have the resources out at the time he sets broker???

Re: Brokers
My guess is he means you should have 750 bil. naq to broker someone for 1 mil. UU; either way, seems just a desperate idea to prevent people from actually thinking about what they do/click, not to mention I can't imagine how anything could be done to prevent this sort of incidents.

That doesn't make sense. Who dictates that someone should buy uu for that rate?
He brokered 750m naq which is what he had. If he didn't have it then the brokered would not have allowed to have been set.
I think you're original thought Severon needs rethinking.

Because 'blind brokering' isn't cheating, so why should they be stopped? and what you're asking for is something to make it even easier for you , so that you don't have to check.
Is it really that difficult to check a broker before you accept it?
Other than that I don't know what you mean, because as clarkey pointed out you cannot make a broker and pay for it with what you don't have.

fadmin gets the ip(s) he uses to play ingame, and bans those ip's from being able to view the forum, therefore preventing him from seeing who's selling at any given time

Re: Brokers
The ONLY thing that warrants looking in to here is HairyMehoff's problem.
Renegade7 set a broker which shows 7.5b (or whatever) on his screen, yet it shows 7.5tril (or whatever) on HairyMehoffs screen, yet HairyMehoff only received 7.5b.
That is the only thing warrants looking in to because there is either cheating going on here or Renegade7 is aware of a bug which he is exploiting.
Everyone else that has been tricked by Renegade7 it is your fault for not checking the brokers before you click accept.
You do realise that the "accept" button is your confirmation that you ACCEPT what is in the broker. Therefore you have no right to cry about it when you realise what you have done.
HairyMehoff's problem should be raised in tomorrow's Admin chat.
