Rate your ISP

Looking for a new ISP, just cancelled with BT Total Broadband. (30 days notice) Got my Mac code.

Id like up to 8mbps, 40 gb limit for downloading and obviously a stable connection.

Who has what and how good are they?

Centurytel= sucks, its slow speed for the money and it disconnects me/ goes out alot.

That for $50 a month. For the most part, I have nothing but love for it. Except when it comes to XBL and seems to crap out.

Well going on that he said he cancelled his BT Total Broadband im going to guess that connecting to an ISP 4500miles away isnt going to work out to well for him,

I dunno how close you are to London, but i use Eclipse.net.uk and have used them for over 4 years now, ive never had any outages other than when they are running network updates ( mostly 12midnight-6am ) or if someone else has dug up a line that they shouldn't have.

They are also unrestricted.

Alas if you are in an NTL ( Virgin Media ) cabled area, i dont think you can beat there connection speeds.
