the game wasn't broke but admin tried to fix it and in the process i still (and this opinion will not change come hell or high water) think admin made a boo boo.

we did not "NEED" raiding, lifers or planets for that matter yet they were introduced to "fix" the game :? . i can live with planets even lifers but i will NEVER accept raiding has helped the game in any way shape or form!

:shock: raiding helps people grow tremendously. You can grow by the mills a week if you raid enough. Otherwise it is more or less a matter of how long you been around and not very encouraging to newcomers.

perhaps a tiered attack scale similar to the one in ascended. if nothing else it could prevent someone over 100 mil army from beating on someone with a 5 mil army. give something to the smaller guys till they get big enough THEN they become fair game. at least give them a chance to learn before they start taking a beating and get discouraged with the game and leave. if they havent learned by a certain size then its their fault. just my opinion.

what most people fail to realize is that most of the big guys stay away from the smaller accounts unless they do something stupid like try to attack someone they should not be attacking or leaving to much naq out because (in there minds) they have a god given right to do that.

You see that's the point entirely - before raid came along, then you didn't need it because NOBODY needed to grow that fast.

All raid did was change the game more into a stat builders game and increase the growth of people more exponentially - therefore it is exactly the opposite of what you say and older accounts grow faster than newer ones.

And it all started from the day that UU were made unkillable.

This is meant to be a war game - and once upon a time it used to be because to be at the top you had to be able to grow whilst simultaneously being able to keep your opponent down. It's just too damned easy these days.

As for the lifer suicide thing - if nobody uses it then why do we have to force a change to how it works? Why not get rid of it altogether?

Oh - and moved back to Suggestions.

i don't really play ascended and forgot all about that thing, it really used to pee me off whenever that wep was sold and i would find i had DMU in my account when i had zero income lol


what about main, i don't think there has been an update withdrawn from main...has there?

Some of the older guys needs to confirm this one, If I'm correct,,,, Raid was added, removed, and added again? Thats the only one I know of.

Do we really need to kill AC units...that are just sitting on an account?

Well no, it was never here before the update and people will just retrain them after use.

Besides the obvious what will happen if you can retrain lifers into uu and/or use them as an efficient offensive weapon?

1. When people leave the game they will be able to sell more uu crashing the market because people will pay them to suicide into their enemies or they will be able to untrain it themselves (under other suggestions).

2. It will give an extra option for killing those people that like to sit in the top few ranks with AC trained lol. Yes, this is a bad thing. There is no need to attack people minding there own business lol no matter how "stupid" you think they are.

What else can we do if we want to kill AC units more efficiently?
Basically if you want lifer suicide mission to work more efficiently it should work as a defensive tool not an offensive tool. In other words AC attackers can lose up to 50% of the AC if they attack you with AC units and you have told your most loyal citizens to protect your covert operatives. This would work in a 2 lifers dead:1 AC dead ratio. Your units stay in this mode for 12 hours and during this time they do not produce income. As long as you are killing 50% the operatives they don't get a chance of taking on your spies, if they do take on your spies and win you take losses like normal (if they fail due to taking losses through lifers they take the remaining losses to 50% total...remember after this last attack u will be able to hunt like normal because they would have no lifers guarding left).

This suggestion will make it harder for individual players to take on large alliances that know it is coming...well if a 200mil player could take out 400mil army before they are spent. :P
