Extortion is nowhere near new, but to be effective, it must be done by an alliance or player that can back up their claims. That said, it isn't the most respected ways of growing in this game.

I do wonder what Odin would have to say about this going on in his alliance. A tad bit ironic considering recent events, don't ya think?

as mathlord said,it isnt against the rules but for some people it`s the only way how to grow,either extort people or hide behind the alliance tag of some of the current empires,take your pick....

Hmm, I'm from The Collective and I can personally say I've never heard of such action. I do not know our official stance on extortion, but me being a victim of it at one time, I do not condone it. I'll see if I can talk to him and see why he's threatened you. SATAN is rather.. warmongering so it could be just that he's bored and wants someone to mass.. I don't know if I can really do much about it.
