i think their might be a bug in the merc for untrained because iwas able to get more mercs then im suposed to i was wondering if its a bug or can you just get more untrained one cause it wouldnt let me get any more then my limit in attack and def mercs

You are able to get more untrained mercs than the limit as far as I know. It's only the military mercs. I remember being like 2m army size and having like 10m untrained mercs

Untrained Mercs are unlimited. However they are worthless and a waste of naq.
They don't do anything and the APP for ascension is rubbish.
