They can only be recovered by an ircop sending an email from the server with will contain it, and be only be sent to the email address you specify when registering your nickname
Some of the commands java users can do:This is not a full list, but rather the bare minimum that users who want to just use java should knowAlso to start off with, a good idea when you are new with irc and the java interface and registering, is to do all your commands in the "Status" window
its located here:
http://www3.webng.com/quickshot84/java%20tute/statuswindow.jpgRegister your nickname with the server:Syntax: REGISTER password email
ie: /ns register mypasswordhere
quickshot84@myemailhere.comas stated above, show a list of all channels:Syntax: list
ie: /list
Join another channel:syntax: join #channelname
ie: /join #quickshot84
register a channel, if you're a aOP (@) on that channel:Syntax: REGISTER channel password description
ie: /cs register #quickshot84 mychannelpassword this is my channel
whois a user:syntax whois name
ie: /whois quickshot84
This shows information such as the users ident, what channels they are in and also idle time
Also when in a channel such as #stargatewars, you are also able to right click on user's names in the bar on the right hand side.
This then gives more options for you to choose from.
Some of these commands may be visible to you in your current screen, otherwise you'll be able to see the result of them in your "Status" screen
