to spice up things a bit and to honor the farmers that are distracted by those annoying PPTs every day...
*goes off farming*

this would effectively remove ppt from very strong players. also eliminates half the farming.
i'm sure there will be a lot of objections.

it's when you can't be on sgw that day and you dont want to VAC... that's the purpose
and ofc when you want to have a break

Not really, because sometimes i have 1 day of the week when I am at work but out of the office and have no internet access. Therefore I put my account on PPT. If i was to put it on vac mode then I would lose 2 days, but it's only 1 day that I have no internet access for.

I disagree. This game was patterned after Stargate SG-1. PPT was a tool used by the Asgard to protect weak planets. If this game is to follow closely with the TV show universe, then we should take PPT for what it is, a treaty to protect weak planets. If you know you can't be on SGW for work, health or leisure reasons, then VAC should be used.

besides, we assume that it is by way of stargate that one realm raids another. else, how can your troops raid someone else's troops? do they just magically appear on your target realm?
