It is common sense not to put your own country there, people will put afghan there because it is the most unlikely place for someone to be..

could be proxy, maybe this is another indication of hellboy/emokid/whoever... certainly to much scamming/cheating going on these days. Clarkey you should submit that IP you have to admin and/or mods that can querry the IP for a match.

speaking on MFC side, just because someone does some reasearch about these tactics doesnt mean he is suspecious, as criminal phychology teaches you the best way to catch a criminal is to think like a criminal.

What was the email address (read email address NOT username) used to create said account and does creating an account there require email activation.....

I am keeping that to myself for now, however I'd like to point out that I myself am not pointing the finger at anyone. I know a lot of people that play this game from Australia so fingers should not be pointed at any one individual.... unless you want to point at Reyne because that's always fun LOL.

Until you can provide proof that said IP originated from Australia you should refrain from making statements like:

Well I now have the email address, i will look in to that first.

My time zone is a little different to admins so if they think i did it they can ban me and i will fight it over emails as i have done nothing wrong. Admin knows where to find me.

I was provided the IP address by the Admin of the linked forum.
The IP address resolved to Australia.

The email address used to create the account (again provided by the Admin of said linked forum) was Richie3888@hotmail.com

A search of that address on these forums comes up with:

The said linked forum does have email verification.

However, as people have already mentioned in this thread, just because someone posted on a forum asking about that stuff does not mean they intend to use the information to their advantage. It could even be that by asking questions like that they could gain information to provide to Admin about possible bugs and exploits.

So I am not passing judgement.

But those details were passed to me, and they are facts that cannot be denied.
