but jeff, this is a "i hate (or similar) TLE" thread if you really wanted to talk about how TLE is behaving themselves, you should have mentioned a little about fuall alliances are still acting (and thats ok by me, everyone plays how they want too, its a game after all )

yes i didn't mention about other Fuall alliances because as the thread said " A view over the fence" it was about peoples perspctives, one of the first posters saw this straight of & they were from the TLE, only a slightly known member but they all count.



now someone said, it comes down to who is worse, omega empire or tle, well, i think both have great players, and both have players that just use the tag to bully, but i'll side with tle anytime

This thing about the EPA being kicked from the GA is getting old. So here's the inside scoop. The leader of DD expressed concerns that the EPA in the form of EPAC was getting too bloated. So we had a vote with DDE and DD voting for the EPAC leaving the GA and me voting for them remaining in the GA..yes I have the logs. I save everything. We then came up with a compromise that every member of the GA, including ALL it's alliances within one group should provide 120 members. EPAC rejected those terms and so the original vote stood. And of course certain members of the EPA assumed that Omega kicked them out, started getting all worked up and planning for war with us. JaseB was their leader at the time and had outlined them hitting our members. So we hit them. Incidently a few weeks later their leadership gained temporary access to the Omega forums and found NO PLANS to have ever gone to war with the EPA. And since then our alliances drifted further and further apart to the current situation where I don't even know if they exist anymore. I think if wolf had still been around, he would have asked me and the war would have been avoided. It does teach one a lesson never to jump to conclusions.

No actually it was more about paranoia and nothing more you know old and the fence thing. I never blamed or said anything like that and as i said i worked the oldest from memory and stories as i came in after your war and when Dundee was in charge of EPA not JaseB.

Hehe beside i was just refering to the fence thing.

m8, the pact was just an official statement of the alliance we already had since cia/cop war basically, we always had good ties with TLE, so why not make it official, since others did but do not worry, we will not change our ways, just ask our latests adversaries in war, mayhem, they had fun waring us, thats what this game is all about, having fun (at least for me )

Now I will give u the true reason Omega was created. As some know we were created in Quantum first wave and did great, top 5 out of 10 and 10 in the top 20, but for all intents and purposes it was just fun.

Omega in MAIN was created to specifically go after cheats. It is the reason why we put ourselves against ppl like Nebulator and JUAN, when no other alliance wanted to.

etl, has i do agree you guys went after cheaters when you found them (even when you found out about crimson cheating, who belonged to omega, you reported him) you gotta say the truth lol, you formed omega in main, cause it worked in quantum, and you guys wanted power in main too

and by the way, if im not mistaken, juan actually joined omega at one point right? and his uu's did go to an omegan, by your words cheater uu's right

Juan WANTED to join Omega. He was rejected. As for corkscrew, he said that most of the UU was his earned and as far as I know he never cheated. Although admittedly I was not overjoyed with the UU that cork supposedly had relating to JUAN, at the end of the day it was a matter of whether the current person cheated. I assure you certain cheaters have sold their ill gotten gains across this server. Should we punish all those innocents too?

The reason we warred with the TA is b/c right from the beginning the TA saw us as rivals. There was no 'hi welcome guys' etc, just alot of paranoia among the TA members at the time..I used to be amused by the stuff certain of them used to say. And admittedly metal and his buddies caused alot of bad relations between the two. They exploited that bug WHILE leading the TA..if u want I can show u a couple of amusing logs of them discussing the bug and their thoughts on Omega lol. PM me sometime.
So as in all things those who disliked the TA approached Omega and vice versa increasing antagonism even more. So I guess it was one of those domino effects. (Although I believe I did get along with u..though we haven't talked in a long while).


EDIT PS Nimras you are admitting there u are relying on hearsay. I actually KNOW what went on. Ask Dundee himself.

a lot of the points raised are very valid however, but i like to think that we (TLE) are a lot more approchable than you all think a lot of players brand TDL as the 'bad guys' in the TLE family ..... but how many of those players actually have had bad run ins, and how many just listen to hearsay??

i was a founding member of The Legion, i'm now TDL, i'm a member of the educators, i mass for fun ........

BUT, i also protect, donate resources and regularly help out about 100 other non tle accounts, be it old alliance mates, friends or just guy's i've met around the forums ...... soooo am i a bad person?

TLE and Omega are both hated for some things they do, and i dont see it ever being any other way. We couldnt function if we sat and turtled, never attacking anyone ... and thats where this hatred comes from ..... ppl being attacked, and not liking it. Just accept it

i still sleep soundly at night knowing that some players hate me ..... but the ones that matter to me ........ know the real story.

Lol as i also stated as the point where more about the paranoya S T I talked about and not about EPA and Omega it was a examble based on what i heard my time in this game. I only know acurate what happen after i joined lol.

But when it came to the fences and paranoya even if the story werent 100% it still show what i wanted to show and even if we go to what you say it still shows the same basicly the story show no matter what, what i wanted it to show and say.
