Right now when you attack someone you get to see the size of the defender's mothership no matter how bad your Attack fails. At the same time the attacker only get to see the defenders defense action number when they are in close range of the attackers attack action numbers.
As it stands currently I get sucided attacked sevral times a week by accounts to ascertain my Mothership size. Usually these attacks are done by newly created accounts and are done only to see my mothership size and then the accounts are deleted.
Mothership size should enot be included int he attackers battle logs if the attack fails outside the 5x range similiar to how defense action numbers are done.

The forces of deleted__r4e7 rush in full force, and inflict 294 damage on PRIAPE's forces!
Judging from the troop and army makeup, 0 of that damage came from support planets.
It was confirmed that 0 of PRIAPE's forces fell at the hands of deleted__r4e7's assult.
The forces of PRIAPE fought back with all they could, and managed to inflict devastating damage on deleted__r4e7's forces! So much damage, in fact, that while running away deleted__r4e7 could not accurately judge the extent of the beating...
They managed to eradicate 0 of deleted__r4e7's troops.
The forces of deleted__r4e7's Covert Infiltrator Bot break off from main attack force, and seek out PRIAPE's Covert Agents!
0 Covert Infiltrator Bot are taken down by the defending army while attempting to disengage from the main battle!
The remaining Covert Infiltrator Bot engage the covert networks of the realm.
Unfortunately, PRIAPE's Covert Agents were too good at what they do for you to effectively find, target and eliminate.
Putting down the chronicled battle report, you cross reference and call for the corrosponding military armory reports to see the state of your weapons after such a battle...
Your Targeted Spacial Distortions went from strength 5,750 to 5,750 (now 5750/5750 and 0 percent damaged)

The forces of deleted__r4e7 flee from the battlefield! One could see glory on the face of the victors, and spite on the defeated!
The forces of deleted__r4e7 could not secure a foothold in the realms of PRIAPE!
The armies of deleted__r4e7 were forced out of the realm of PRIAPE in a none to glorious fashion! The defending forces were simply too much for them....
There are lessons to be learned here - old cliches of your race abound... biting and chewing...eyes and stomach...enemies and friends... too little too late.. stitch in time...books and covers --- but... one would guess that those defeated who lived were simply thankful for escape at the time, and running to become better prepared for the next excursion. It is sure that PRIAPE will be considering a return visit to deleted__r4e7!
One additional fact: the forces of deleted__r4e7 were so completely overwhelmed that they could not even breach the perimiter of PRIAPE! As a result, it appears that the weapons and forces of PRIAPE suffered no damage!! Was it a suicide run? Proving some sort of unknown 'point'? Or maybe a tactical strike to recon the strength of the opposition? Nobody is 100% sure, but one thing is sure: the attack was eliminated before they even got close, and had no effect on the target!
Less than a hour later the account was deleted...
This type of attack happen to me about 5 times a week.
