i hope your son recovers from this. He has my hopes of a nice road of recovery and this to be a small bump in his life that is quickly forgotten and never remembered.

On another note however; this case deals with the sensitive issue of someone being accused of molesting children. This accusation has made some be falsely imprisoned, some rightly so, some have committed suicide over the guilt. Still others however have committed suicide for what it has done too their lives, only for the prosecutors and zealous people to find out it was a lie. i am not making a judgement on the case, and i am asking everyone else to please do so as well, theres no conviction and at the moment its just an accusation, so lets keep this thread about hopes for the boy to recover from what is not too lightly called psychologically damaging. i dont want posts saying that its all a lie, i dont want posts saying they want "Mr VanKlaveren" to die or to go to jail or the like. Thank you. And again my hopes for your child, and the others involved in this case, to conquer the experience and never be haunted by it.

I can respect the side note of yours APADAMEK!. And I agree. While I have my own issues with this, all I ask of anyone is just a prayer, not vehement thoughts of dismemberment, and urge everyone to please heed APADAMEK!'s side note on the issue.

an adult should conduct herself/himself in such a way that there is no suspicion cast on them of doing something wrong. even if he is not responsible, giving people such opportunities to cast such suspicion on him is rather irresponsible.[/spoiler]

Man that guy is a creep preying on little boys like that. And to think some people say pedophiles can be rehabilitated. Man I would of just followed this guy until we were alone and throw a bag over his head and beat him senseless. He won't know it was you cause he had the bag on his head and it would be your word against his. But least he is in jail and I don't think the other convicts who have committed crimes against kids. But I think the best thing for you do is reassure your son that is was not his fault that it happened to him. And that this ever happens again to tell you right away so that you can prevent it from happening to others. But I will pray for you and your son and hope the prisoners welcome the accused with closed fists to the face and body.

My thoughts are with the kid. I hope he comes out as good as possible and that he may stop suffering from it at one point. Though we all know the scars will never go away i hope he finds a way to live with it.

I thank you for all the kind words. Me, my ex-wife, my wife, and my ex wife's husband are doing all we can as well as a therapist. Free, you are right about the scars, mine are still here, but I have found good ways to cope with them, and I am helping my son learn those ways as well, so maybe he will have a chance to be balanced to some extent later in life. Mistress, I do know that, and thank you very much for it. And all of those that at least take the time to read it and not say anything, I thank you as well, as I am sure you may know the pain, hopefully not by expirience, but by hearing and learning.

Please, to all of the community, pray to who ever, or what ever you may or may not believe in, that these things that we are being bombarded with in this world will end. Thank you all again.
