In other Words:
You give people resources and help them out and while you are around, they are nice to you. However, while you're not around, they admit to being nice just so they can use you for their own gain.
I'm not suprised. You know why Dean? It's because you cannot buy friendship. Friendship is priceless and something that needs to be nurtured and earned over time and through experiences.
What you are doing is undermining that process by providing an incentive. The very fact that you are giving resources and expecting that they form bonds of friendship with you shows you are not selfless and acting in your own interests. You are expecting and demanding that people provide something in return and you can see how it becomes a transaction. You provide ingame resources in exchange for a limited form of social capital.
The only trouble is that what you are after cannot be bartered away and this whole farce of "Good Dean" has been exposed for the 'I'll rub your back and later on you'll rub mine' affair that it is.
Keep acting in your own self interests Dean, just like all of your apologies have been empty promises whose purpose wasn't to actually be sorry for what you had done, but merely a tool to try and gain a new slate and opportunity.
Remember this,
The community forgave you multiple times and gave you so many new chances. Given your logic and expectations above, I hope *YOU* remember that.
