Alliance bank

10-15 % of your income would go into the alliance bank EVERY turn... Or the leader would be able to change the tax from 0% to 15 %, no tax at deposit, tax AT every turn

just make it something like a 1% tax on every alliance members income(per turn) and from that the bank deducts 10% for tax(so it would only really be 0.9% of a players income being deposited each turn). 0.9% doesn't sound like a lot but it would build in a hurry when its coming from every player in the alliance. such a small number should prevent it from being abused and yet it would still keep it useful.

the alliance leader and 2ic should still have to approve requests to prevent abuse by one person.

well obviously you couldnt put it at 100% max would prob be like 10 % (numbers always arbitrary)

if there was an alliance bank, who would have access to it? the alliance leader? that is just not fair because who says they will use it for the things previously posted, like PPT or ascension. alliances would turn into monarchys and no one would want to be in one that had a bad "king/queen" that took the taxes and used them for personal gain.

if there was an alliance bank there would have to be a lot of restrictions placed and the only fair way i can think of is a 2/3 vote of the whole alliance on taking out funds.

it could show up as a message and there could be a yes link and a no link.

the only time the leader should be able to overrule the rest of the alliance would be during a time of war.

to be honest - that is all down to the individual!

If the bank was accessible by only the alliance leader, and he/she abused it for his own gain, then I guarantee he/she would only abuse it once, because if they did it then their alliance would probably desert and/or mass them! And the chances of tehm being able to lead another alliance would be slim, at best!

I dare say the odd alliance leader would abuse it - as I have seen them abuse it in other games - but as I said above, they only ever got to abuse it once!

One of the fundamentals of alliances, and particularly the leaders, is that of trust - that trust needs to be earned - and you have to ask the question 'if you don't trust your alliance leader, then why are you in their alliance?'

Having a vote on the use of funds seems kind of over the top, and time consuming (in more ways than one).

A bank for allliance use only would be good, but it would need limits, like you cannot use it for weapons or UP, only for damagerepairs or to put some1 on PPT without that player controlling it. If you see some1 in your alliance being massed and you are not strong enough to stop them, then you can as allianceleader use the alliancebank funds to force your massed member to go on PPT.

Also was thinking about using the alliancebank to buy players from another alliance and the price of a player was determined by the amount of mill.exp he or she has.

I think an alliance bank would be awesome....would save on our massive players being war chests....as some big members have a habbit of spending that naq on there own stats :S

LOL are you mad, if admin introduces this, the very next post on the forums will be,

wahhhhhhhhhh Omega, DDE, The Legion etc etc etc, have way to much naq saved in there alliance bank, its not fair we cant catch up, bla bla bla same old story.

If you want an alliance bank, i believe chaos has one.

GC's right - and it's not really needed anyway - there are already ways to save - bank, other people, investing in weapons.

A bank would ultimately make things easier - but do we really want to make things easier than they already are?

An Alliance Bank is being introduced very soon with the Alliance War updates.
It is not known yet exacylt how the alliance bank will work, but no-one (not even the Leader) will be able to withdraw naq from the bank. There will however be some sort of Alliance Upgrades that the naq can be spent on. Admin didn't go in to detail in the chat but he is definitely working on it for the upcoming Alliance Wars update.
