Myself, I've spent nadda on sgw. jfonggy bought my ss back in the day, believe I traded it for some AT I had. Nice work to everyone who has risen in sgw without money.

No one who has actually spent more than $50 on the game is going to come forward.
There is a negative connotation with paying real resources (cash) or ingame resources because apparently real top players get to the top on their own skill, and not cash and using cash, apparently makes you a short-cut-taker, which is the mild, water-ed down form of ... a cheater?
Perhaps or perhaps not. I have yet to spend money on the game, nor have I profited. I'm just pointing out that real cash users will not come forward and the topic, while amusing (about your uncle) is pointless. I still love you JMX.

Bought $150 on 3 USS - if people didn't, we wouldn't have a game 
Bought a load of uu, but then sold a load of naq - so broke even on that score....infact probably covered a couple of those USS....
Lets face it, whats $20, or even $50 these days? I blow more than that on a night out....and remember nothing about it.

I have contributed several USS over the last 6 months or so. I think it's important to support the game to keep Jason interested in maintaining it. It's a mostly thankless job he does and I suspect he hears more complaints than praise so I'm sure the occasional $ drops help keep it palatable for him.
