I spent more on my old account - around $100 I'd say - and that was when PPT cost $10 a go! (the infusion bonus was $10 - the PPT just came with it)

(and I think $20 of that was to buy SS for someone else)

I don't mind putting the odd bit of money into the game here and there - because as Mordack and a couple of others have said, it's brought me over 3 years of fun - and it won't support itself. However, there have been in the past (and no doubt there still are today) people who have spent literally $100s if not $1,000s on the game - and I just kinda see that as a bit sad.

Ok so today my aunt calls me up, she's pissed and upset. We get to talking and stuff and comes to find out my uncle, who I introduced to this game last december, has so far spent over $1000 into this game since January. I'm like holy heck. I dunno if this is a lot of if this is chump change compared to what you put into the game.

So how much money this year have you already put into the game?

hmm not sure i'd call a war game like this an investment. btw i guess most people that spent money on the game spent less then $100, with a few up towards the half a grand or more mark. Would like to know how many have spent upwards of $1000...or at least know somebody who has...out of interest lol.

I'm happy to say I've spent lot's of cash in the Black Market for turns and in the cash market for Naq and UU. Some-one has to pay for this game we play. I'm just glad to play SGW and I'm a SGW junky.

me.. ive sold a few hundred $$ worth of naq, and spent quite a bit of it back. except for that one time i needed to make my car payment and i was broke.
