A different way to log in

hello 2 everyone
i was wondering if its possible to have a link to login that is not related to games, proxies or forums
just a name like engineering.net or stuff like that.
recently i cant log on sgw from work i used web proxies to bank but they are easy to filter
it it possible to build a beta interface for those that cant log

admins can make it replicate infos every 3 hrs or so , put a limit in the nr of the connections and a clearing so who logs on the beta site cant log in main for 2 hrs,

can it be done?????

This conversation occurred a long time ago - and I believe it was made clear, a long time ago, that it wouldn't be done.

The chances are if your workplace have blocked it, they done it for a reason - and i doubt very much the game is worth you getting sacked for getting caught playing it on the firms time.

But the biggest reason it won't be done is because of Admins measures he has put in to prevent the use of tamper data/cheating - many of which rely on logging in through the sgw home page, which is why you cannot log in via any other method.

Seriously - all it will mean, when workplaces find out that their internet system is being abused (and they will), is that they'll cut off internet access for you - or worse, everyone - and that wouldn't make you very popular.

And who is going to buy/register the domain name to fund this?

i thought about this at my old workplace - great concept and frustrating not being able to bank at work... but you will live without it, and surprisingly enough work is more important than SGW (regardless of your job, or how much you pwn ingame)

jsut to let u know , i dont play much from work but i just wana bank a little , its like 17 hrs without banking , i m not gona get online at 8 in th morning soi bank from work , its not a big deal to create a beta site just to let others bank. anyway if sgw has decided not to have it im forced to play 4 days/week or to bild a huge def.

in every work place internet is used for personal stuff , some play some jsut surf etc

damn, ive been trying to get sacked from this client, they keep blocking the proxies i use, but no one ever said anything lol, i think they like me over here

but yeah i agree, i was just joking, i use it, but i really dont care, im in a client and my boss knows i use proxies to acces stuff (mainly sgw lol ) and theres always other clients lol

everyone use work internet for personal stuff , i ve seen a lots of sites that let their member on internet for personals its internet culture.
a minor sgw site should exist for those that have it blocked it can be just to bank and train this way ppl avoid web proxies to login in sgw and we know that those proxies can steal yr login data and not only that

there should be a solution , i do understand Lithium possition, its a pain in the ass to be looking every body in here, its my job to block them from internet conection by proxies for their lazy asses, but for example when people tells me, hey dude its to save resources from a game, or to check my mail, tc etc etc i do let them. But im sure if this werent my work ill be another one complaining about it!
Im sure theres something that can be worked out for this, im god damn sure it is dude... at the end if u think about it, its those who works who pays for cash infussions to the game, those who works who can get internet at home and play...... if they get busted at job well... its their choice, but still im sure that for just loggin and saving noone will be fired.

If your company doesn't like you playing SGW when they are paying YOU to work then tough.
Either put up with it or lower your income. or find a new company that won't block it, like mine.

its not that my company blocked it, its just the security admin which was a kind of a friend b4 and now he banned it and also filtered a lot of stuff , i used to play b4 now i cant login even from non business pc , the only way to play a little is just ppt + vac till th day ill get enough and ill vac for a long time, all i asked is if we can have a safe login page that doesn have anything related with games etc, it might have only a few options just to bank train so the replication will be easy and nothing can affect the game

As said before it's not going to happen, unless admin has a change of heart...

theres also your mobile phone? You could use that... or ingame you could use PPT/alert status? Or get up 5 minutes earlier and bank in the morning...

Domains cost money,
additional domains would most likely mean recoding things


Why should the admin do that, just because a few people have had SGW blocked from work?
