Admin meetings !! Can I be heard for Once?

We do have a forum area for upcoming updates....how about putting up polls about new updates in there....we can all discuss pros and cons....afterall we are the intended audience, and we can guess how the game will react in ways Jason might not be able to....

I like this idea Kill.. I like this idea a lot. As I do not go to the meetings it would be most enjoyable to vote on things that could change the game for the better, rather then hear about them after they are in effect. Once again, great idea.

How about 4 small favors?

1. Jason, simple visit forums once and a while and see whats going on. Talk, be merry, its not that bad a place.

2. Jason, please do offer some variance to the meeting times as there are people who just cant get out of bed at 2 am, or 3:30 am, or be here when their shift at work starts, etc, etc,

3. During the admin meetings, PLEASE take out the trash. All trash. Everyone's trash. You can look at the logs and see miles and miles of complete trash, spam, and BS. Those few minutes are precious and anyone who doesn't treat them that way and act in an appropriate manner needs to be booted from the convo.

4. Just simply explain your actions once and awhile. Try and let us know what your thinking is and your reasoning behind some of the things you do. Would go along way to help peoples attitudes toward you if they understood you a bit better.

for proposed suggestions having individual polls on the main SGW forum and an ingame message at the top of the command center for people to come and vote on what they would like and issue suggestions to those proposed ideas will probably satisfy a lot of people and also help keep everyone informed with future updates...

a poll when you actually LOGIN to ingame, not forum account

Yeah, nice idea here.

Meetings are at 2am and um... 9am I think for me. Either way 2am is sleeping time and the 9am is working time so I don't get to them unless i take time off. Even for people in the same time zone as Admin have trouble due to work.

Evena simple move like shifting the meeting to Friday would help 'cos I could make the second meeting which would then be Saturday morning for me.

• Forum does have other things he needs to do
• he is human, so he needs sleep
• his timezone is the same as gametime, so he cant be online at every hour of the day
• he needs some schedule to operate on...

so perhaps no more than 3 meetings, all at different times&days of the week?

there is no use suggesting too many meetings... Forum just doesnt have time for that many meetings... the more time he uses on meetings, the less time he has to make updates properly...

The first meeting is for me always at dinner time (6 PM) and the second meeting... well... I am often asleep then. :/

Ok obviously Im speaking as I . Meaning stargate player , Im one of those people who cant make an admin meeting who would like to have a say since I have been playing since 2005. Anyone who has spent an amount of time ingame who enjoys playing would like to give some feedback on what updates they would like to see.

ok on all points...
i am on forum more than you might think - but a reader
believe it or not - my time gets sucked up so so quickly - it is hard for me to do all things...

reasoning i try..will try harder (explaining it, that is -not doing it...)

for meetings, i cannot do weekends (family) and i rotate between morning person and night person -- 9am to 3/4pm is my guaranteed daytime (sometimes 9 is pushing it...)

would a tues/friday work better? i can never please everyone, and a complicated schedule will lose a lot

anyway - here and catching up, and coding mostly coding...

I think just moving the meetings sometimes and advertising that they have been moved will get more people going and therefore allow you to get a better view of the community as a whole

Tuesday/Friday US time would work for me hehe.
