by the way how much naq have you 2 stole so far? just curious maybe i will make an alliance called the teachers if it seems like it would be profitable

look at it this way... I've scanned the ranks of FUALL & TJP...

If I had my strike up at around 2 trill I could make a lot of naq very very quickly... and then rinse and repeat to grow incredibly quickly

the other day I could have hit a DDE member for 320bill naq on a 700bill defence... I chose not to as that would just cause more greif (and it was about 2 hours before we started war with Mayhem)... but it just goes to show people rely too much on their alliance tags and naps...

after all a 5 mill armysize member of delta had 45 bill naq out... now that I took...

but it just raises a question at what point did people suddenyl become invincible because of their alliance tag... most people hold back because their actions are passed onto their alliance/empire... people in the game are too quick to start attacking the smaller members because they cant do enough damage to one person/alliance to make them happy (Mayhem)

Your whole point of the dde member with the naq and that defences is a rubbish analogy . For one obviously you didn't hit said person so I would say that person didn't rely on their alliance and naps. If your scared to take it say so if not then by all means do it.

it was the not long before we went to war with Mayhem... If I had started farming FUALL a few hours before that probably would have caused issues for when the war started

Now Rook, that's not an entirely fair assessment.

Not everyone (or even most) alliance members "hide behind their tag". I keep a relatively low defense all the time (currently around 130 billion). I routinely have 40-50 billion sitting out overnight before I wake up in the morning. While it's true that nearly anyone with a small-ish strike could get through my defense and take the naq, it almost never happens. Why?

Is it my association with DDE? Army size? The warnings I have on my planet names? My reputation for stripping planets when I'm farmed? Simple courtesy being returned to me because I don't farm other players, ever? My attitude where I don't take this game all that seriously and treat people on the forums with respect? All/some/none of the above? I don't know.

What I do know is that if I get farmed, I handle it myself. I have never asked DDE for help from a farmer. I rarely (never?) see requests from other DDE members in dealing with farmers. If multiple DDE members happen to attack someone that did a farm hit, it is nearly always due to seeing the hits in the logs and independently choosing to take action without being asked.
