I just happen to think ppl have a chance to read your and other reasons for nominations in the nomination tread , no need to make one here .

request this tread to be closed as some ppl may feel forced or intimidated to " vote " for someone they dont actually see fit for the job.

Actually, I agree with Eros on this one. Not because it saves him from putting his foot in his mouth again, but because (like Draleg said) it really didn't need to be made in the first place. We already have a place to nominate our trusted forum compatriots in the main nomination thread and another to cheer for our favorite candidates in the "ad thread" (once again, thanks to Eros). So, this one really serves no purpose. Lock it, dump it, and throw away the key.

I like the idea of a thread for the disscusion of the actual ombudsperson selection process. My personal differences with eros aside, he does raise valid points from time to time.
