This guy just left the HW-v-FS war and I noticed he has 11 planets, not only that but he obviously knows he has 11 planets and has had them for over 24 hours because he has numbered them in the names. I know this happens occasionally but you meant to abandon 1 if it does.

No, you are not required to abandon a planet if you have 11, Admin Jason has said numerous times that it's legal to have 11 planets. You could have seen this for yourself if you had checked other threads about 11 planets.

OK I stand corrected, I thought the limit was 10 and that only exploiting the 'Create / Explore at same time' bug got you more, I guess this means exploiting bugs is OK

Well since the planet management page says
I guess it's not a design feature, so in my book it's a bug.
As I've already stated, if admin are allowing the bug then thats up to them and seeing how it's done, the fact you have to build a planet from scratch and the disposable nature of planets I dont really see it as worth doing. I guess thats why you dont see it often and the bug isn't worth fixing

Your star system has only enough space for 10 additional planets to be acquired without endangering the entire system in a cosmic implosion.
