I get what you're saying - but truth is your avvy is a representation of your in-game persona, not your real self. Meh, not really something I can get massively worked up about to be honest. And to be fair, the national costume of Scotland includes a kilt (which I suppose is a type of skirt) - I have a Scottish mate who wears one with his uniform on semi-formal occasions (he's also completely straight and happily married with kids).

Weird there means in my opinion being wrong minded...if not twisted minded.
So, it's wrong.
Because between having a Jessica Alba avatar and one like this is different...there are several celebrities who are picked by guys as avatar. Why are these ok and others not? I don't know, global internet unwritten law?
And we have the ones with "explicit" women sigs, but there it's a different matter! And they are forbidden here, though, seen few around ..not really agreeing with these sigs.
