a. Dictators are not all wrong. There's much to be said for a government that's able to make decisions, write policies, and execute justice and progress. Unfortunately, most dictators have failed to deal with the power they get.. so my vote goes to an executive committee of Alpha humans. b. Eugenics are great, and an excellent way to further the human race. I mean, come on.. how many children are born each day with genetic deficiencies? At this point in time, 99% of humanity is defective. 80% of humankind is sub-marginal in areas that count, and well.. I don't have to start about the food shortage, do I? We are overconsuming, underproducing, and our prestations are marginal. We, humans, are no longer viable as a race.

Firstly, how the "cleansing" will happen? Will it be "WW 3, the nukes war"? Or will it be some decided event by governements? What will happen? Don't you think world revolution would happen if it doesn't come from big war?
Secondly, who will be chosen? You said you would perhaps not be chosen. How peple would be chosen? Forced to die, voluntarly? What will happen again?
Into it, take into mind families will be broken, children will see their brothers, sisters, parents uncles/aunts etc disappear, and vice versa. Do you think most will accept it? What about criminals and killers? Will they be picked to die or few kept alive? Do you really think also people who love each others would accept to see other one die? I can tell you not. Will it be by size? Height? Weight? Colour? Random picking? Ill ones sacrified?
Thirdly, how long will it last, will it be all at once or long and slow process, such as increasing costs of life to make poor ones die slowly? Or not cure anymore people being ill?
