Abuse of the Protected Planets Treaty

At least 1 person is abusing this system. I will not name names. This person donates cash to the game and stays hidden under the PPT so that they will not be attacked and can leave all their Naquada in the open.

I recommend that instead of the PPT, that bonus naquada from donations be put directly into a players bank...That way the person cant hide under the PPT and collect ungodly amounts of cash without fear of losing it.

If it is in the bank then its already safe. Why do we need to the PPT at all if we have the safty of a bank?

Please consider this Forum.

Brilliant i think you really stumbled onto something here Fox.
Putting the money in the bank elimnates the need for the PPT compelety the bounses that the player recived manily money are kept safe and the rest of his money the cash he/she collected outside the PPT is up for grabs as in fair game that makes everything simple and Clear .

players cant hide under the PPT for no longer than 2days now i reported this problem to forum a few days ago and he pm'ed me to tell me it was fixed so players can no longer abuse the PPT

good suggestion though.

its working now becasue the targets that have over a 2 million naqada where rape by others and me man it was some good pillaging and looting.

I still feel that there should be no need to even have a protected planet treaty. The player I am refering to donated cash and then allows his regular income to build up untill that player has enough to take back what he feels is his spot...oh dear have I said too much? I am sick of it...Play the game or get out! Poor baby cant deal with getting beat by me for once...

I agree. Eliminate the protected planets treaty... well, maybe keep it for newbies who just joined, but other than that, there is no need for anything like it.
The suggestion about putting the money directly into the bank is perfect.

And then elu...that one guy... will get killed by all the people pissed off at him

Consider this though Fox. You have figured out a way to get ahead of this player and if I'm not mistaken you can keep doing this using the same technique. You don't need to attack him. And now he will repeatedly have to keep donating which means better servers and a faster game.

So let's assume a worst case scenario and this guy turns out to be Bill Gates. That means soon we can have a supercomputer built specifically for this game for some billion odd dollars and everything will be peachy.

I'm also assuming this person can't sabotage or attack while protected though.

Isn't it strange that new acounts and other accounts, fairly new in the 1000's appear on Fox's and his officers attack logs, the starnge thing is their commander is..... 3 guesses ELUSIVE but anyway, yeah, if we let him have 1st for 1 day or 2 days a month maybe we can get some really cool stuff for the game lol

In this case perhaps an overdraft of sorts? I still think its a better idea than the PPT.

Not possible.
If the player donates, they get 100 additional untrained troops. 100*30=3000, times 48 then times 2 for the total increase in capacity for the bank. This means the banks capacity increases by 288,000 (or more if your goa'uld) which is more than enough to hold the 100,000 you get.

Who is the commander or maker of this treaty, because I see it allways but I never seen memberlist...Maybe I already attacked one of them without knowledge...

Its not a treaty between members, its something programmed into the game, kind of like vacation mode. You cant be attacked, and you stay in that mode until time runs out, or until you attack someone. To activate this, you need to donate to the game. It lasts for about two days.
