Well, yeah I would as my rights would've been majorly violated. However, those rights are provided to me as an US Citizen. I don't think that's a good example. I can't remember what exactly the terms of service of using this forum, but I'm pretty sure that 'votes/elections on these boards are backed by xxxx government' isn't on there.

The admin team tries to help bridge the gap between moderators and users, and this is what they get? They are damnned if they do, damnned if they don't. Maybe the omsbudman position should be abolished and we just can live comfortably under what you guys make out to be 'the iron fisted rule of our evil tyrant moderators'. Sigh.

the issue is not one of governments, but it is one of rights. The right for the forum users to have some one to look into what they see as an unfair/unjust ban/modding from an unbiased position. If those who do the modding have supreme say in who they deal with, well, "Well, yeah I would as my rights would've been majorly violated" by those who said i should have some rights.

Re: a question for smooshie

Whats your beef with US govt ey? Something on your mind?
You talk pretty..but you're not very smart ey, saying ombudsman be removed.
Iron Fists belong on a guy..MajorLeeHurts is no guy..Iron Fists do not belong on MajorLeeHurts.
To say a women could be ombudsman is to say "the pope is a women"..big lie. Woman cannot be ombudsman because they're not MAN..ombudsMAN, there.
Logic..logic wins..schmooch would be napalmed if he did let the women go through.

Oh Papa, the rules have changed..no more candy for you..and no more rights. You American? Then youll be one of the first..of many.

'The right for the forum users to have some one to look into what they see as an unfair/unjust ban/modding from an unbiased position.'

Where is that right promised/guaranteed/owed to you?

For example, my right to have an attorney while in court is promised to me by the 1966 United States Supreme Court case, Miranda v. Arizona.

I can't tell if your post is filled with sarcasm or nonsense. Besides some minor things, I'm very pleased with my American Government. The rest of your post looks like sexist drivel but again, I can't tell if that's sarcasm or not.

Anyways, I'm outta here. Have fun huffin' and a puffin'.

Admins, moderators: Please know that not everyone likes to cry and moan about every last small thing you do. There are those of us who are happy that you sacrifice your time and effort to try to make this game funner for us. We appreciate your efforts very much!

Re: a question for smooshie

it is important at this point, as amusing as your spam is, to remember that ero was removed from the very position, i believe, for saying some one called him a girl amoung other things. Please tread lightly here, for if offense is taken by the female members of this forum, u could be warned yourself for promoting bigoted views

night night all

smooch.......u can pm me, u can answer here, u can start a new thread, but please answer.

Not quite true about eros - there was a lot more to it than that - which was all explained at the time. All in the past now though.

Re: a question for smooshie

Well the ombudsperson position is one that has to work with both the users and the mods. The users got to pick the top 6 and of the top 6 I get to decide which 3 I feel could best work with the mod team. I was upfront about this if you would like to go and read the original post. I took the bottom two out of my consideration because it was clear very few users want them. Out of the top 4 I felt MLH was least able to work with the team. It is entirely possible that I am wrong and she'd be the best. But I have only done exactly what I said I would do.

I have nothing against MLH and will certainly keep her in mind for other positions that open up. I am hoping I can talk to her on MSN very soon to assure her that it was not personal.

Except you forgot to ask said mod team who'd they work the best with, right...

Ok. This is between MLH and Smoosh now. Pop Smurf, if you're satisfied, we can close this thread.

Again you arent really netural are you ?
What's it feel like? Took the wrong route
Watch it fall apart now you're knockin' at the wrong gate
For you to pay the toll, a price for you alone
The only deal you'll find, I'll gladly take your soul

Teal'auc

Methinks that's why he said "felt".. not "counted the votes after having lengthy and timeconsuming debates with the entire mod team".

Meth wrote:Again you arent really netural are you ?

He's the boss.. of course he's neutral. He defines neutral. :-)
Smoosh as admin stands above both mods and community. How neutral can you get!? :o
