15% fleet strengh uh huh

I thought in order to mass a planet down you had to have at least 15% of the planets def in fleet strength, i say this because there are a few people with 60bill fleet strength massing planets with 450bill+ defense.

And 60 is not 15% of 450, it would be 67 yes it makes a difference and as the fleet strength never does full power whats the deal, they should lose all there fleets because of devastating damage, but they don't.

So its either a bug, a silent update, or you no longer require 15% of the defense in fleet strength....

It was tested along time ago by a few of us, that when you hit a planet with less than the original 10% damage, you took devastating damage, and you lose the fleet completely (not the hanger, just the fleet) as its currently set, you could mass any planet with a tiny fleet strength if you had naq to replace/repair.

yeah, pef is right, because the fleets and planet defenses get modified by a random amount each attack the game actually checks on a per-attack basis to see if you have the 15% requirement, if the luck goes against for that particular attempted attack then it won't launch, but keep trying and before long the luck goes your way and you can hit, then of course the planet defenses are lower and subsequent attacks are more likely to be over 15%.

the random strength modifier should be between 90 and 102%

if the planet defense was 450 bil then you need a fleet strength of at least 67.5 bil. The damage you do can go down to 0.9 * 67.5 = 60.75 bil if you have bad luck
