i think it may be people whom, being in a hurry, go through the trade market, do it all correctly, see trade complete.. then close the browser. One MAY have to actually just click one screen further, to anything really, to truly complete transaction. which would be a bug, as you have received a message saying it is complete. But possibly not. Uncertain at this time, not enough data points.

It happened to me too. I went on PPT lastnight at 1530 gametime and I saw it confirmed and it showed time remaining on PPT. Today my PPT is gone. and Blahh nailed me hard

sounds liek a familiar problem:
ppt times are not cumulatative, when you buy a ppt while being on ppt the new time will not be added to the remaining time, so your trade is invain.
you have to wait(or cancel) the old ppt in order to benefit from the new one.

A) If as you described, then 'trade successful' with time remaining shown should not be displayed, still a bug.
B) Previously if one went onto PPT with PPT time remaining, you simply erased the old PPT and started the count of the new PPT at the time you made the trade. Overlap instead of stack is fine, as long as it behaves in its expected manner.
