I think any issue people have with this isn't so much with Don, but the actions of some of the other members that also left.

As far as I can tell Don was a good leader and hasn't acted in any way that seems out of step with that now that he's left.

I find it funny how fuall members say what a big "family" they are,...

sry, but the only real family is TAF lol, all others are "empires" built for power ingame and nothing else, we in TAF care about one another and have fun, we play the game for fun

I think Don Lewis was a good guy, and someone who did a lot for his alliance.. but I also think that the Empire is probably better off without someone who was apparently so unhappy here, and so chose to flounce out of his alliance in such a public and damaging way. Maybe "bad seed" was too strong a choice of words, but I certainly think both parties will be happier with the new arrangement.

well although it`s hard for me to say it,TLE are really something you can call a family,atleast someone cares about their members

Please don't act as if there aren't internal problems in TLE; because there are. There's bound to be friction in any organization which is as large as either FUALL or TJP, as it's just human nature. The only difference seems to be that TJP have the sense to be discreet about theirs.

well we can shake hands that the *bad seed* part was a bit of board,it is understandable that he left and maybe that some are happier without him but he was a great asset to alpha and shouldnt be treated as a traitor just because of a disagreement noneheless

About the family part in TLE
Well it is your own problem you are not discreet about it,noone ever asked you not to be,people usually what they wanna see and tbh Iam not big of a fan of TLE but neither that means I wish that they had internal problems between their members

Anyway I don`t see how did don damage fuall`s reputation or whatever,people already have their opinions on fuall as a whole so no difference in that
Maybe you should keep an eye on etl so that he won`t go lose from his chain,50% of the reply`s were started by his comments to don`s first post if I don`t count that spam involving history,vikings,Atila and whatever else

i think this boils down to the people who lead these big alliances

with myself being a leader for over 2 years now i have seen many people leave the alliance, i dont think i have ever publicly brought them down like some has in this thread because in the end this is just a game and if they want to leave why should i stab them in the back after they have been in the alliance helping out anyway they can.

Don must have been a great player and great leader to even get to the position he was in in the first place, this means that big man ETL must have seen his quality. if Don was leaving TO after all of this is would have thanked him and wished him well, as it was the right thing to do.

maybe some players and leaders in all alliances should seriously think to themselves wat this game means to them, cos some people take it way too seriously

I would expect better of some fuall members that posted in this thread,not that I expected miracles from etl...well that`s why have "hope",you never know what could change

Some people should really think about themselves and not consider leaving the alliance as a form of betrayal
I think don would get out of it easily if he announced that he wants to sell up but since he aint planning it I think he didn`t have much of a choice,just packup and leave under whatever circumstances

As you can see from his initial post, Don Lewis has made it clear that his new alliance "TanKs", will be attacking the Omega Empire. You can spin it any way you want to, but as far I'm concerned someone who leaves a group to instantly begin attacking them is fair game to be labelled a traitor by some.

The same goes for what you said, Memento. Letting members leave amicably is fine by me, and the vast majority of people who've left the Omega Empire have done so under pleasant circumstances, but when someone leaves and begins attacking us.. that's when the rules change.

My allegiance was and to an extent still is to alpha, i will never attack them, perhaps i should have made it clear in my first post when i said i would war fuall that it will not include alpha.

I once considered myself loyal to the empire but my distaste of them grew as i saw how they treated certain people, so call me a traitor if you wish, but i will never attack the alliance i was loyal to.

@ artanis, you pretty much sum up any responce i would have made to certain posts here, so i wont repeat anything you've said, thanks

In fact several people here have posted my exact thoughts which comforts me in a weird way, it shows im not alone in my weird thought pattern.

On that note i'd like a mod to lock this please, ive said what i needed to say, im not here to change people's opinions or ask for more people to post theirs so this topic no longer serves any use.
