The Abolishment of the Market

Hey guys... I first off would like to say that all though in theory the market is a good idea I think 1 thing was seriously over looked...

if everyone is on PPT how is anyone supposed to get attacked...

I just went through 400 PAGES of the "attack" button trying to find someone to attack and EVERYONE literally that had more that 20mil was on ppt...

This seems a little rediculous.. this now means that your spy lvls def weps and attack weps not to mention your mothership are all pointless...

can we possibly do away with the market? it is killing the players that want to advance by attack... like me...

Now don't take me wrong I appreciate the developers of the game for all the hard work that they have put into thought and development of the market but it seems to be hindering things more than helping...

just let the people doing trades and getting scammed fend for themselves and put things back the way they were...

I got scammed before... it is part of life.... deal with it... learn from the experiance... get some allies to rally behind you... and move on...

If I have said anything here that I shouldn't say please feel free to edit it but I think all that I have said here is very valid...

The market does have built in limits though. 3 trades a week. knock it back to one, and see what impact that has.

These PPT's are likely just a temporary thing. A lot of people have jumped at the opportunity to get SS for ingame stuff, and a lot cheaper than at the old market. Now that they have it, they probably won't be going on PPT on weekly basis (or so I hope).

i think take out the ss WAY TO MANY multis have taken advantage of the ss and now supplied there main acounts and that boosted them Alot over the normal players (take out the ss and ppt just keep them as black market trades (risky trades)

So, if someone has a high enough UP, they can go on PPT for 6 out of 7 days and effectively not lose any untrained units. I believe this to be a flaw that has been overlooked and that Forum perhaps needs to at least look at reviewing the number of trades per week - possibly to 2.

However, we should give the current system a chance first.

i have played this game since july the 7th and since then EVERYTHING forum has done has worked out for the better

the more the big players with high up use the market for ppt the lower the price untrained will get (if my understanding is correct) that gives you the chance to buy more uu the amount of tturns you get to trade could be increased but with a limit on the amount of 20$ ss you could buy

Perhaps the market could continue to exist for trading UU / Turns and Naq only if people continue to gain multiple PPTs.

While it is possible to go on continuous ppt for three and a half weeks now, it was possible before, too. Besides, ppt used to go for 12-15k uu on the forum. And anyone who made at least $35 a week could go on continuous ppt then too. It would be a mistake to allow people to buy the $10 ppt bonus on the marketplace, but I don't see anything wrong with allowing people to buy the $20 SS. I like the market, and I think it should stay.

I know someone (whos name I will NOT disclose, as a lot of people don't like him anyway) who has been on PPT for almost 2 weeks non stop now.

Give forum alittle credit here people....he isnt a dumb guy. He has had far more time then anyone of us to ponder on the issue of a market. He also probably has had lots of people helping him out with the idea. All we can do is adapt to the changing battlefield and create new game tactics. Simple as that.
