Well, I had a huge long post written out about a half an hour ago or so, and sent it to a few people whom I respect to look over and make sure that I wasn't going too over the top with it, one of them just read it, and asked politely that I simply post the end of it and do -in his words- "the right thing". So, here it is.

I close with this, [name removed as to address all] you don't actually dislike me as a mod. You hate me as a person because I hurt your feelings, and now you're seeking revenge. But don't worry, you see I'm not a child, and if you ever want to try to work out our differences I'd be more then happy to oblige, and I wouldn't hold our past against you.

But I dont see that as trying to reconcile.

well jack, reconciliation's fine. i promise you i will not post anything about you anymore in any hate or complaint thread that stemmed from recent events. there. you've already read what i've had to say anyway. i hope that it can help you somehow in future. Reconciliation is about re-creating friendly relationships. Making amends.

In your opening post you were basically, showing everyone that the post was originally meant for one individual and not to be addressed to all (otherwise you wouldn't have posted that bit). The post went on to tell "that" person they they don't dislike you as a mod, but rather "hate" you as a person (which in my eyes is your opinion of their feelings). The post goes on to say "you see i'm not a child", this basically implies that other person this was originally addressed to is a child.

The only slight sign of a reconciliation is in the last line. However, you have made it so that the other person involved has to make the first move. You couldn't be man enough to make the first move yourself.

That's the exact attitude that people dislike. This forum section is for Users to Talk direct to the Mods. Everyone has a right to post in this section. Just because you created the thread does not mean you have a right to say who can and who can't post in it.

The problem is that it has happened to many times in the dear old past, unfortunately people do not forget easily nor quickly in that matter; which is a shame, i have always thought Jack is a funny and great guy, but i do not think he suits the position as a Mod due to qualities which are needed as Mod.

he asked you not to post here, simply because HE DID offer the first step with reconciliation, yet you wish to play with words and take the topic off the rails to concentrate on the bad things.

bottom line is jack offered reconciliation with no grudges, yet you chose hostality. clearly the signs of someone who doesnt want a wrong righted, but the signs of someone simply after revenge. im guessing that your name is just a coincidence, and for now im prepared to give you the benefit of the doubt. how long that will last, i dont know, like my patience for aggrevations such as yourself.

The forums are pretty heated at the moment seems you cant even fart without pissing someone off. There are some hurt feelings and personal issues clouding judgment it seems which are not relative to how well anyone can do their job tbh its quite a turn off and Im not enjoying the forums much anymore. Seems the forum would be much better served with mods and users supporting each other and learning from each other, working together, offering advice rather than all this bickering. You guys need a mods night out something fun that will bring you all closer either that or a big time out and firm talking to and a spanking ya spankings all around

Ok fair enough, I accept your quest for reconciliation.
This is the last thing i'll (try) and say on the topic, especially due to the fact i'm flying off to Italy on holiday tomorrow! However, i'll be disappointed if you let us down.

To acheive the "recreation of friendships" and make this forum a happier place I do feel you need to change slightly, but then again so do other people.

Jack make us proud.
