I'm sorry Bill but in this situation Smoosh is one of Jacks best friends and vice versa. If you believe you will get a fair decision from Smoosh regarding Jack you are sadly mistaken.

This should be made as a choice for all the mods if they want to work with Jack or not.

Well, it's obvious, friend. You didn't want to work with Jack, you got kicked. Smooshable's double standards, bias, arrogancy and unability to act reasonably are making me really sick. He will keep around only those, who suck up to him or are silent, that's also obvious.

Only sad thing is, Jason agrees with Smooshable's lead..(lack of thereof, because he makes decisions based on personal feelings)

If it wasn't for smooshable, all problems would be solved, because Jack would not be promoted to supermod in the first place. It's not really Jack people should point fingers to. He didn't appoint himself as a mod. smooshable did. Smooshable is the center of whole problem.

Teal'auc just remember this, if Jack and Smoosh are held accountable for there actions, other mods (wont name at this time), have also done the things they have done. As such, they deserve the same treatment and handling of the situations like this.

In other words, other mods broke the same rules we are trying to get Smoosh and Jack for, thus they must be accountable also.

I agree entirely leniancy shouldn't be given to the mods certainly as much as has been given in the past.

Smoosh is capable of making his own decisions, and is only answerable to Jason, not the community, hence him being an admin.

regardless, the issue is dealt with, if you are to make a counter claim or whatever on the result, make another thread, but considering my point about smoosh not being answerable to the public, your argument is flawed, and in particular, is now void.

EDIT: my argument in the prior post was mainly directed at tetris monkey who wished to serve as ombudsman, and considering the fact that he seems hellbent on getting jack out of 'office' so to speak, TM is unsuitable to act under such a role or moniker.

My job is to remain neutral, and I do not have the power to slap anyone around. My job is to talk to both parties and try to reach a middle ground. In the event you are still not satisfied by the result, you may contact smooshable.


I try to deal with the issues at my level, and smoosh is on a completely different timezone...so sometimes it might take awhile to get him on msn. But I do address every single issue without bias or personal vendetta.

The community is helpless when even Jason refuses to solve this within fair measures and chose to ignore everyone else, except Smooshable who will provide him with his distorted, biased point of view.

A leader who ignores issues of the community is bad leader. And hardly can expect any respect from people who are core and heart of whole community. without good people here, this would be empty forum with power hungry people, who'd be there alone. The voice of people cannot be ignored forever... A good leader should be able to be a follower as well.

i am no blind follower Teal'auc. i dont know either of jason or smoosh personally. interesting that when i mention the fact that it is the way it is, you change from that to condescending to me and labelling me a blind follower.

decisions have been made, there are reasons for them. please try to accept it. i have. you dont have to particularly like them or agree with those decisions.

my point is this, there is a whole lot more to this YOU DO NOT know. and upon those details there are reasons as to why we shouldnt/dont know. it isnt necessarily a case of 'admins being unfair' as you so adequately put it. you wouldnt think that your government is being unfair by not releasing certain documents to public domain, some things with management are like that, they require a state of opacity, as opposed to the actual moderation of the forum which is meant to be held in transparency. Moderators and admin are completely different in terms of their responsibilities. thus they cannot be held to similar standards. Smoosh made a decision. there is a reason why.

now i have taken the liberty of researching some of smoosh's reasoning with regards to his choice for Jack being head of Misc. quite frankly, we needed a moderator who would not be 'eaten alive' so to speak by the Misc. community. Jack can be viewed as a defacto leader somewhat of the spammers, obviously not in a literal sense, but he is someone who knows the way things work in misc, and would not do things to cause damage. as i understand it, the other candidates for this job do not fit this.

now please if you cant see past some grudge you have and wish to make more statements, please talk to me in PM. I have no interest in continuing this further.

Smoosh made wrong decision. there are far more suited moderators who'd fulfill role of leader of misc AND the role of supermod. Quite frankly, Smooshable chose to appoint his best friend, disregarding the fact Jack has been abusive, breaking forum rules and disrespecting forum users.

It's shame people just chose to accept it. I did not and won't. I may go silent, but i will not accept the fact that this decision was poor, biased with pure favouritism from Smooshable's side. hence why concerns arised from the community. It's shame that Jason chose to ignore this community (and the mod team who have issues with Jack as well.)

I have no interest in discussing this further, as you seem to back up Jack as well (must be the fact you two are long term spamming friends... )
