unable to retake a planet after 30 mins

i had a planet stolen from me 30 mins ago... the person in question stole the planet and then ppt'ed no problem there but with the update i should still be able to retake it although it seems that the planet has now been abbandoned which should not be able to done... now i know this is a known glitch but i cant seem to find it anywere. so now that its out there any way i can get planet back?

I believe you can abandon a planet anytime after you take it?

As for retaking it, I suppose the only thing you can do is wait for some to find it, use a beacon, then retake it.

Also, I'm not sure whether abandoning a planet is an actual 'glitch' or just a 'feature.' So I can't help you there sorry.

Unless it was changed you can abandon a planet the moment you take it.

I thought hte 12 hour rule was for abandoning and the 24 hour rule is for renaming.
