Attacking & Rank bug

I'm currently ranked 17,757 and a player, ranked 882, hit me, this turn... So no rank change there yet.

I was under the impression that you could only hit those ranked higher than you're rank *10, +10, which would mean he could attack anyone ranked better than 8830... Which I'm not. So from this I get the feeling he should not have been able to attack me.

Can this please be sorted?

That rule only applies to raiding. When attacking, you can hit anyone of any rank (except, of course, for PPT or something similar).

Also the rule is (rank + 10) * 10, though it only really matters to those ranked high enough for it to make a significant difference.

raiding for UU is limited by your rank. attacking is not.
