Would this be legal?

just purchased a good account a few minutes ago for very cheap, and i was wondering if this situation would be legal or not: i put my old account on vacation and don't play it anymore, just keep it for the day that i may want to play it again, and play on the new account, thanks for anyone who helps here

also, i have a question about vacation, would it matter how many days i put? like if i put 3 and don't login again for a year will it stay on vacation the whole year or just 3 days? thanks again, levi

Can't help you on the account ownership sorry, but:

When you put an account on vacation, it freezes for a minimum of 2 days. Then after those 2 days, the next time you log in it will be back to normal (un-vacced). I'm not really sure what the 'days' field does on the vacation page.

As far as I'm aware the rules are you can't be playing two accounts simultaneously. Since you're not playing the account on vacation you should be fine.

As I have noticed, I think your accn't will stay on vac. mode until you log in to it again.

Also, you'll be risking to be banned if you use two accounts at the same time.

There seems to be some issue with vac mode though..
But you should be fine.

Just don't log in on both accounts at the same time ever.. or switch between them.. if you want the other account back, you should totally trash/delete/sell the other.
Safest thing is to sell your vac moded one; change PW and Email to something generic and when you sell it, dump that info on your trade partner.

I guess.


Unless the matter is specifically phrased as "owning an account" not "playing an account"..

Per the game rules,

1) Only one account per person, per game server.

So, you could not have two accounts. That includes accounts on vacation, etc.

I know what your saying Dadigi, but technically he hasnt got 2 accounts, as with 1 on vac mode he cannot benefit from it at all, he cannot farm it, raid it, take planets from it etc, so technically he only has 1 account, as far as the game is concerned when an account is on vac mode its no longer in the game,

You should be fine doing that, however, if your plan was to say, put your account on vac mode, make a new one, go scam people, or become say a vulture send all the resources to someone, then bring your main account off vac mode and get said resources dont be surprised if admin hit you up with the good old ban stick.
