"Children of the Gods" is the translation of the name Goa'uld, but it's a bit long.

"Naq" might work, if MGM doesn't have a copyright on it.

(I don't want to think about the "Ask Joe Mallozzi" thread on GateWorld's likely explosion at this.)

We the gods (Gou'ald) don't care about vn70072 changing his race, it would actually bring a beter name to us system lords. BUT, on another note "Snake Gods" sounds kinda weak, I mean we are gods correct? I really like "Serpent Lords" or just "Kick you booty gods" would work 8)

thats true, human doesnt sound very militaristicly inclined, it sounds like those cave people from planet of the apes movie. Tauri definately sounds like a military race
